Since we've been on this trend of sharing wedding things, how about we get some dress porn? Either share your dress for your upcoming wedding or from your wedding or share some dream dresses! I found this Allure dress at a local shop and have yet to try it on, but I'm in love! (5 feet and stocky figure)

my dress! (and H, 15 or 20 lbs heavier than he is now... most men gain weight when they get married, but H lost a lot of weight because he quit eating fast food and started eating what I cooked!)

it was champagne with ivory lace. it's still hanging in the office closet and I love to go "visit" it.

I included one of our "first look" pictures, so you can see the veil. it came off after the ceremony when we bustled the dress... and I changed into some flat gold sparkly sandals.

@Blackbird230 - I am 4'10" (and maybe 10 lbs heavier than I was when I got married, wah!). I didn't think this style of dress would look good on me. I thought I'd get something with a really pronounced A-line, but when I tried this on I just loved it. I'm bottom-heavy, but I fell in love with the dress. so you really DON'T know until you try it on!! I only bothered to try this dress on because I wanted to see if I liked lace... and this one even came with lots of sparklies and tiny pearls and NO CORSET (I didn't want a corset).

@blackbird230 I had an Allure dress too! I love their styles!

Here is mine!!! It was the first dress I tried on after asking the salon to make sure they had it in stock because I saw it online.

@southernpeach89 - that was the style of dress I planned to buy! I still love yours... I tried on a similar one (maybe the same?) and it was a close #2, but I thought that since I wear that style of dress often (I'm a dress-wearer), that I'd go with something a little different.

@TwoDimes - we were very happy. the wedding planning period was just hell, and it was like, OMG WE ACTUALLY MADE IT AND WE ARE GETTING MARRIED AND GOING TO BOSTON AND OMG WE GET TO EAT ALL THE CAKE TONIGHT. at least, that is what I was thinking... H was probably just thinking, I GET LAID I GET LAID I GET LAID.

@Blackbird230 - I am also all butt... that dress didn't accentuate it (and the top helped balance out so I didn't appear so bottom heavy).

@CocoBellaF I feel like there was one other NEYer on here that said they almost bought my dress as well. I haven't seen anyone actually buy it for their wedding yet though lol.

Here's mine when I tried it on in the store and another pic of it with the sash I made for it. I have my first dress fitting this Saturday since I'm only 5'2 on a good day

I posted this a few weeks ago...but this is the dress I will be wearing (provided nothing goes horribly wrong). It was my grandmother's wedding dress and will be 60 years old when my FI and I get married next spring.

Yay dress porn! The bridal shop told me yesterday (when they were trying to schedule me for BMs dresses) that mine will be in mid-late September, so pics of me in it then. It's Allure 8900:

ETA: And I'm hacking off the train and taking it to ankle-tea length. Definitely ankle, haven't decided if I'm going higher or not yet. I love it. It makes me feel like Audrey Hepburn.
