    I attended a wedding a month ago where the officiant asked that guests to silent their cell phones and if they wanted to take pictures, that was great but to take them without flash.  The photographer was able to get the shots she wanted and not have someone's iPhone camera flash go off and ruin the picture.

    Thank you everyone. I was torn about it but I think I will let my aunt know that the reminder is ok but that the officiant should say it.
