    Anything I want to vent seems like first world problems compared to what you are going through.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Same shit different day. Boss' son is ridiculous. He is the "manager" of a guest house (12 units). We are primarily a time share that run Friday to Friday. So today would be the big check in/check out day. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What does he do? He is sick and decides not to come in. That isn't even the issue. Issue is he doesn't tell anyone. Not me, not his dad. WTF? I have people trying to check-in and out and no one is even there? Well there is a housekeeper, but she doesn't do check-ins.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Then I caught him taking cash and not reporting it. We are suppose to be cash free. But sometimes we will take cash. I'm like why did we remove the upgrade fee? Why was their parking removed? (I'm the one who charged her account). So I called him. He was like "I'm not sure how that happened?". Me "well on Sunday Aug 3 at 11:49 am you removed all the charges.". Him " ah, yeah she gave me cash." Me "well why didn't you just mark the payment as cash?". He didn't have answer and put then re-posted the transactions properly. ----------------------- ------------------------------ Dude is too stupid to know I have a log of what all the users do. Dates, times, transactions. Everything. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- and yes, I sent a message to his father that his son collect some cash revenue. (his dad is OOT right now. )

    Daddy doesn't really.   But Daddy has told his son that if I quit because of him, son needs to find another job.  Son knows he means it too.   Haha.   Son is at work right now.   :-)


    The bad thing is I do not live there, so I can't cover.   I've told the owner to let me go and give me salary to someone local.  He said "no.  You're the only one who is responsible at the place and I'm including myself in that place".   

     I have job security right now.   That pisses the son off.   hehe.

    My doctors have changed up my medication and it's making me feel super hot and extremely fatigued. Except at night when I want to sleep, of course. Then I'm a wide awake insomniac who is still hot and sweaty.

    But yea. The sweatiness. It's pretty.

    I'd scream with you but I'm too tired.

    OMG This. This is exactly how I feel right now, too!!! I hate sweating in general, but especially at night.

    OMG This. This is exactly how I feel right now, too!!! I hate sweating in general, but especially at night. 
    It's been helping me to take a cold shower right before bed and then get into bed half soaking wet with the fan on. Of course, it's helpful that I have hair so it can stay wet. (I don't have AC). I've also started sleeping with ice packs! It actually helps to roll over and grab something cold.

    Hah! Kitty sleeps at the foot of the bed which is ginormous so I don't ever feel her. Especially now that I sleep alone and she isn't right on my feet.

    I'm getting married in 13 days. I have one more week of work, and my head is not in it. I am all sorts of panicking and FI is just now thinking about what to wear. And I have a cat who had to sleep on my head. That's all.

    Cats just love to sleep where you don't want them!!

    Mine has taken to nibbling on my cheek at 4am when she's hungry. This is a new thing since I've been sick. I'm not sure where it came from, but I'm not amused.

    Lands End has these wonderful cotton nightgowns.  I have lost so much weight, I'm swimming in them, but I refuse to give them up.  Thank God for the invention of ceiling fans.
