I usually get ready in my bra and underwear or a tank top and underwear and then get dressed. I don't want all of my hair that falls out every time I brush it on my clothes nor do I want powder from my bronzer or eye shadow on my clothes. I have 3 dogs and a cat too so I get dressed right before I leave so I don't have fur all over me either.

Oh yes, good point. We have two cats who love to shed on everything. So especially if I'm wearing pants I'll put them on very last thing so they don't drag on the ground and get furry.

I'm totally a robe person! I have a fluffy luxury spa robe from Macy's, but it's getting old and fuzzed-out. I wear it after my shower and get ready in it (with my towel turban on my head too- sexy!). When it's really cold out, I'll cuddle in it even while wearing pajamas.

If I wouldn't get totally made fun of, heck I'd get a Snuggie.

I have a big fluffy red VS robe DH got me for xmas I tend to wear when I get out of the shower. I'm not one to lounge around in it though. I may go down and get some chocolate milk or something, but for the most part I do not give myself a lot of time between showering and leaving the house.

I'll usually attempt hair & make-up, after a shower, in a towel, but it never stays on, so I end up getting dressed, or throwing on undies/a tank. (I don't know why I always do this, expecting new results). If I haven't showered, I'll usually wear underwear and a tank, or shorts and a tank. (Usually ones for just around the house, or ones I'd sleep in sometimes). My H likes the short-shorts & tank look. So it's usually my "around-the-house" go-to. I'll wear the robe I have every once in a while, and usually after a shower, if we have friends or whoever staying with us, vs a towel, but that's about it.

In the winter I do because I'm cold. In the summer, naked. But I don't really have "getting ready". My morning routine consists of- brush teeth, shower, lay on bed naked dicking around on Pandora/ FB/ TK for 30 minutes. Then when it's 5 minutes before departure time, I throw on clothes, hair in a pony, no makeup, grab leftover dinner in lunchbag, and go. I don't understand the woman get ready with hair and makeup thing, seems like a giant waste of time and energy to me when my coworkers don't give a shit about my hair lol.

I was about to comment saying that I don't wear one, but I totally do. I don't know what I was thinking haha. I have a bright pink robe with black hearts on it that I usually wear in the winter, right now I sport one of those covers that have straps over my shoulders and velcro to close it shut. Sometimes I'll put the robe on first, but if I am blow drying my hair it gets too hot and I switch to the other one.

I use my wedding robe! It's a waffle weave cotton that is light and perfect for warm weather. I put it on when I get out of the shower, wear it for doing my hair/makeup then get dressed. In winter, I have a heavier robe that goes on the second I get out of bed.

I have an awesome satin one my grandma bought me years ago. It's reversable and one side is black with a dragon embroidered on the back and the other side is tan with bamboo and kanji printed on it.

I tend to get ready and spend as much time as possible in just my bra and panties, but I keep the robe on hand in case I need to go upstairs since FSS is always in the living room.

I have my shower and then put on my clothes and that is pretty much it. If I am going to be wearing makeup (which is rare) I will put put on my makeup afterwards and call it a day.

I usually get ready naked. But then, given the option, I would do everything naked or as close to as possible. I live in Southern California so it is usually warm and I just sweat if I put a robe on. I own two dogs so putting on my clothes is left to the last moment to minimize dog hair exposure time.

But I do own what my FI calls my wizard robe which is a purple velvet robe that I wear in the evening when I am getting unready, i.e. getting ready to go to bed when I take off whatever I am wearing in the evening to I brush my teeth and wash my face, robe goes on).

I get ready in my underwear on the daily. I run super hot these days and don't have AC so if I didn't my hair and makeup would be a mess before even being fully ready to go.

I think you're talking about your wedding day, though, no? Wear whatever but just be careful about wearing anything that will leave indentations on your body if it will show once you get into your dress. For example, don't wear a bra that leaves strap marks if you're wearing a strapless dress, etc.

Nope. I ordered a robe. One of those short silky ones. I got it from Frederics. I ordered it in black but H really didn't like it so I sent it back. I'd like to get another though. Right now, I just get ready naked. I have my hair wrapped up in the towel and then I do all my makeup and everything and then put clothes on. That's partly so I can cuddle up next to H in bed again for a few minutes before I get dressed. (He works a late shift). Also, I've been smearing Vitamin E on my stretch marks so I can't really wear anything that touches it while I let it soak in.

I'm usually in panties and bra to get ready after my shower. But, its cold in the winter here so last Christmas Fi bout me a Bomb-ass Harry Potter Robe, I wear it wear it when it winter time, but also on lazy Saturday's when FI and decided that actual clothing is optional.
