Wedding related: I am working on addressing and literally stamping out our invites. Our invites/RSVP cards are actually giant rubber stamps that we then need to stamp onto cardstock. We got them from Etsy, and I really like how it looks, but it is slightly time-consuming.

I'm also trying to decide about 3-4 guests I am on the fence about because I am the most indecisive person ever.

I've got to get a caterer and a rental company wrangled soon, so those are my overarching projects.

I've got 2 of 6 major decor things sitting in the spare room closet at home. 1 has been ordered and I'm waiting on the delivery, and then we've got a couple more major things to order. Then, the stuff for hanging all the draping. I'm trying to source 3M command strips either wholesale or in serious bulk. Proving more difficult than I'd thought, but I've got LOTS of time.

I've also figured out how I'm going to do escort cards/menus. Woowooooo!

Today, I just want to get all this quote shit for work banged out. I told Slothie earlier that I feel like what Richard Pryor must've felt like running down the street on fire.

I'm trying to not get my hopes up too high - I applied for a job in a different area of my company and I don't know that they'll consider someone with no experience. Also it's a large pay cut (I don't care so much about that, I sold my house last week so those expenses are GONE). I REALLLLLLLLLY need out of my current job, I hate it!

@kat1114 I have three individuals who I have been seriously having anxiety over about whether to invite or not. It is so dumb. And don't even get me started with the bridal shower invitation list! Too many people and too many feelings going on over here! hahah

I don't know why I care so much, I can invite them and they can choose not to come if they don't want to. oy vey.

@birdybride2014: I'm glad someone else understands my pain! My 3-4 people are work people. It's giving me so much anxiety because I hate playing office politics.

My bridal shower list was made slightly easier by the fact that I had a cap of 25, so I just did family and my bridesmaids.

Currently working on cutting all the poster boards I laminated cut out for back to school next week. I'm designing the look of my classroom in my head, hoping everything works out the way I envision it since we can't get in our classrooms until next week.

Goo Gone also works pretty well on labels. I am always using it on stuff when the barcode does not come all the way off. I hate when companies put labels on products that I can't get off.

I didn't put them up on Facebook either. My photographer had a preview set of like 30 pictures she posted on her professional page and website that I shared, but that was 30 of like 10k pictures they took. Most of them weren't even of me. lol I put them on my Google Drive and have individually linked people to only their pictures, but that's it. I think maybe 5 people besides me and DH have actually seen all of the images, and I'm not in any rush to change that.

Currently I have been off work since mid-June recovering from my 5th hip surgery, I go back to work Sept 9. We are looking at the pros and cons of buying a house or building a house as we are living at FI's parents right now and I refuse to be living with them as a married lady.

WR: Finishing sending the last of the save the dates (contemplating whether or not I want to send a STD to this lady that I have no clue who it that FI's grandma suggested, we are already at 140ish guests when I originally thought we would be at around 100-120), looking at wedding invitations on Etsy and getting ready to order, and looking at rehearsal dinner spots.

Totally doesn't make you a weirdo. Probably better that way. I loved and still do love looking at other people's wedding photos.

I was kind of embarrassed that people shared so many pics. FB was flooded with wedding pics that night and following morning. I don't mind they are out there but since I was tagged in them they showed up on all of my friends feeds. I highly recommend turing tagging off if you have sharers.

I'm lucky that the people who are ordinarily over-sharerers were really well behaved. We have maybe a dozen pictures from the wedding online that DH and/or I were tagged in. I think everyone was too busy enjoying the open bar to take too many pictures!

WR - printing off pictures from friends and family to mail to the family in Europe

Trying to get our pictures from the photographer. We filled a complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs last week. If photographer doesn't respond to the ministry and give us our money back or the pictures we have to go to small claims court. I somehow managed to see a deleted FB message yesterday from photographers' wall. A mutual acquaintance used the photographer for her wedding 11 months ago and still hasn't gotten her pictures. I contacted mutual acquaintance and we are teaming up to bring the photographer down.

She has so many picture frames on her TV stand that it is interfering with the connection between her remote and the TV. So she told FI that she wants a frame that'll hold a lot of pictures. Ok, no big deal. So I'm picturing this:

FI just told me she made an addendum to the request, "It doesn't hang on the wall"

HUH???? I have no idea what the hell she's talking about, so now all I can picture is either a photo album, or sticking one of these collage things on an easel in her little retirement home apartment. That makes tons of sense.
