This was our ceremony venue, overlooking Waikiki beach.

This wasn't our wedding though. We did white linen and smaller centrepieces. Chains were white chair covers. We did have the clear top tent though. There are surprisingly few photos on Google on my venue. I should dig out my photo DVD.

@senecaf we checked them out, and LOVE LOVE LOVED them because they had the Dock580 vibe and they were new and the waterfall feature, you could bring in your own alcohol etc as you already know however I couldn't compromise on the very minimal to no outdoor space.

We rented a house for the week on Flathead Lake in Montana and had the ceremony in the back yard on the water. Then our reception was at The East Shore Smoke House on the other side of the lake. We didn't need much in the way of decor at either place since the scenery was so spectacular, so that was nice (from a planning AND pocketbook standpoint!).

Normally, I'm not a fan of hotel weddings because if they aren't new they can just seem so dated, but this is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I LOVE it. It makes me want to have a hotel wedding.

@caitlinmca‌ we were referred there by Dock580! They were booked so they told us to check out Vue. We saw it under construction and took a risk. We were very pleased. I was sad about the lack of outdoor space at first but in the end I let it go.

The Darby House is lovely and your food is sure to be amazing!

@Senecaf‌ we also checked out dock580 but the space with the outdoor grassy area was also booked for our date but the other wasn't but the prices were a little much. Granted I don't know which would be less expensive in the end anymore lol.

Our ceremony is at FI's hometown church. Our reception is about a 5 minute drive away. It's an adorable old boutique hotel. We rented the whole floor (5 spaces) all day for $600 including set up, tear down, linens, glasses etc. A perk of living in southwest virginia, I suppose. Here are a few pictures! _________________________________________________________1st-- stairs leading to the mezzanine 2nd--the card room, just extra space to gather and chat, especially during cocktail hour. 3rd--the boardroom, it will have couches and our photo montage playing on a loop. 4th--ballroom, where our apps, bar, gift table, and buffet will be set up (no round tables). 5th-- conference center, dinner and dancing happen here!

We are getting married at a lodge in BC that is close to Banff. Weather permitting the ceremony will be right by the lake, and if nature decides to spoil that fun they have a lounge inside the main lodge that is also very pretty.

These are the only pictures I have on my phone. Just under a month until I can finally see the place in person!

I haven't actually seen ours in person yet! We just decided to change it this week, and we're going to tour it Friday.

We made the mistake of choosing a venue before the guest list (wasn't lurking here yet). FI started having second thoughts, and I was lucky enough to find this place that is in FILs' neighborhood (original plan was to have everything at their house).

I plan lots of color, and while I think rustic is overdone, FI loooooooves it, so it makes me happy to see him so excited about it.

So awesome! I contacted them about our wedding, but their opening was delayed by quite a bit. Had they opened on time, we would have married there in Sept 2011.

No kidding! That's awesome. Yes they've only been opened for almost two years I think. When I went on vacation to Mauritius January this year, I visited the place and instantly fell in love with it. It is SO expensive but they agreed to give us a super deal since I'm from Mauritius

Maybe you can do a vow renewal there some time?
