  Hey @pinkrevenge, I totally gave you a simple solution to that. Just burn the place down. Gosh, easy peasy.

  Solutions that have run through my head:
  
  Set the entire place on fire
  
  Buy every single lizard at all the petstores in the area and release them into the walls
  
  Set the leasing office on fire
  
  Steal the entire world's supply of liquid nitrogen, freeze the entire building, knock it down with a hammer, and THEN set the rubble on fire
  
  Bag every single roach I kill / find, and mail them to the landlord's house.
  
  But what I have done is contacted a lawyer, sent all my e-mails through the BBB, filed a formal complaint with the city, had the local inspector out to inspect the building, spent over $300 in roach-proofing, set appointments with other rental properties to see other apartments and nagged the leasing office twice a week every week since I've moved in.
  
  The landlord should be getting hit with those city fines this week. He's going to know who brought the inspector in.

  Venting is typically synonymous with whining.
  
  It's especially whining when a person posts, people comment offering solutions, and then the OP gets defensive, makes excuses as to why the solutions aren't applicable, and just generally has no desire to rectify the situation in the "vent."

  I use Connoisseur's jewelry cleaner once a week and get my ring steamed cleaned at the jeweler's every 4 months or so.
  
  My sister just bought us a steamer for clothing, so I may try that on my ring ;-)

  FI pisses you off? Throw FI on the floor.

  Can't find your underwear in the clean laundry basket? Throw all of it on the floor. (Personal experience: it works great!)
