my bad y'all
I took the whole week before the wedding off. the satuday before the wedding was my birthday and also my bachlorette party. It was all good and fun until one of my friends got drunk, started a bar fight, her FI was our DD and got arested, I busted my ass and fell in my 5 inch heels dn tore up my knees. yeah.
I spent Monday and Tuesday gettin gmy house ready for my family to come to town, only my mom was staying with me but still, people woul be over. AND getting my kids ready to start school. I didn't plan ahead and realize when selecting my wedding date I was also picking 2 DAYS after my kids start school. One of them was going into kindergarten. I'm glad I wa off work though It helped make that transition smooth for them. Thursday adn friday were spent doing all the finishing touched like a crazy person. Making the favors, arraigning the favors, finishing the escort cards, finishing the dresses both mine and the flower girl's dress were homemade. But by friday at 5 it all had to be done because the rehersal. It went well.
Wedding Day!
I planned to go to the gym but I didn't. I planned to sleep in but didnt. I woke up early and tried to east breakfast but my nerves were on 10! Me adn one of my BMs went and got our hair done. neither of us were happy wiyth it lol. While I was gone MIL did my daugters hair, I didn't like that eaither but it was too late. Make up artist was there. She did such a good job. I din't tell yall this but 3 days before the wedding one of my BMs tells me our makeup artist fell through. apperantly she had been dodging calls and texts and finally called to say her makeup got "stolen" and she could't do it.
3 days notice that she wouldn't have even done had she not been blown up by the girls trying to confirm. So I am even more impressed with how good the girl we got did. She was on point and last minute.
The ceremony started 10 mins late. I was annoyed but there was nothign I could do. I was just waiting in the bridal suite like why is nothing happening? It was lovely once it started though. I said "I do" too early lol. I was nervous. everyone laughed. we recessed, did pics and then...
I had a meltdownWe didn't do a reciving line and everyone kept coming up to me to say hello, I tried to tell them we would do table visits at dinner. I was getting annoyed because I just wanted to sit. Everyone was in my face, DJ, guests, parents, photog, ugh, it was too much. Because all of that I said I didn't want to do intros and the DJ heard that. Someone else said we had to. Ensue more confusion. DJ didn't do intros but I was told we had to so we waited. but then the song played and no intros so I basically stormed in and sat at my table and told everyone dont talk to me. omg y'all I am so embarassed abouth that, I was instantly and still am. I was calm the entire planning process and then was a bridezilla in front of 120 people.
Anyway I kind of appologized durring visits. drank some wine and had a good time. Mr and I had fun but it was a lot of work. However everythign was beautiful and all the guests said it was the best wedding they had been to so I feel good about it. Every one was drunk. my stepdad slept in the lawn. my brother slept in his car in the driveway. We way overpurchased alcohol so we have a lot left.

Overall it was a great day. I wish I had a videograpger so I could relive it. Our photog did okay but I wish he would have gotten more candids and less portraits. My brother made us a photo booth and that was a ton of fun, vebe enjoyed looking at the pictures people took. Our first dance song was
Simple Things by Miguel. I get all emotional everytime I hear it now haha.
