She wanted 5 braids for her birthday party...so 5 it is:*POOF*
(And she wanted the twirly skirt.  So both braids and skirt spun around a lot.  Which is good, because she tried to refuse to wear clothes to her party and just wear a blanket with a safety pin as a 'hula skirt'.  I put the kibosh on that--I'm not one to fight over clothing but my line in the sand is wearing them for guests)
She wore 4 braids to school yesterday.  Considering she either wants braids/buns or hair down, I'll cater to braids or buns that keep it untangled for the day

Also, she's very fond of her dog: *POOF*e got a new bike for her birthday, which she's riding better than she managed the old one: *POOF*
Already fallen off it it once though.

  • Awwwww love it!
  • Love the braids!  And the twirly skirt.
  • yeah, the braids are rather ridiculous (and I don't think she gets that she's got underdone dreads), but clothes and hair, other than 'you have to wear them of some sort' and 'brushed at least once a day' aren't my hills to die on :)
  • I don't mean it as "this is so silly".  I think it's rather hysterical; I just happened to think of Monica's pure braid joy as well.  :D
  • I wish I enjoyed spinning so my hair stuck out as much as she does :)

She made quite a bit of use of said twirling during her interpretive dance while we sang happy birthday.  (I did not record video, I will try to some time soon because she's decided to coreograph things recently.  weirdo kid :-P)

    Yes ^^^

The Woozle is determined to do her own hair, and thinks she looks damn good.  I'm afraid that her teacher maybe thinks she's an urchin.  But yeah, once she lets me detangle it (because she's proven to be spotty with detangling on her own), if she chooses to rock a crooked ponytail and seven barrettes, more power to her, I guess.
