  lmcooper86 faulty smoke detectors drive me insane (not to mention how crazy it makes the animals) I had one that would go off anytime the ceiling fan was on.

  Between the weather and the memories of 9/11 I'm in a gloomy, just want to curl in bed mood.  Plus, I was up till 2:00am working on the house.  Whoever invented wallpaper is the devil!

  
  

  We spent the first half of the night using a steamer, and yes it does remove wallpaper, but it takes forever!  So bf went to the hardware store to ask for advice and they said to do this: fill a bucket with vinegar and hot water (we do not have the hot water on right now, so just used cold water).  Then use a sponge and wipe the walls with the vinegar mixture.  Wait a few minutes and the wallpaper peels right off, no steamer needed.  Well, it worked, and didn't take long to finish everything!   Next step is electric and that is going to take a while because the people who lived in the house last completely botched it up.

  @Phira - I don't think it makes you a bad person that you don't like being reminded of 9/11. I don't really like remembering it either. It's not like I want to pretend it never happened but I prefer to just go about my day like it's any other day.

  
  

  I'm exhausted today. This seems to be the trend for this week. I seriously need to get back on a regular sleeping pattern because I'm staying up way too late at night lately.

  now H's company is saying they may not cover me AND the government still hasn't sent BCBS my termination yet (from 3 weeks ago) so I can't even get the necessary paperwork (certificate of coverage loss or whatever) because BCBS says I haven't been terminated.  RAWR.

  This is my weekend. I have today and tomorrow off, the last days off before we leave for the wedding! We picked up a few things we needed still yesterday and will go back out for a couple more today. 12 days left!

  I really need a coffee right now. Instead of going out for some I've been sitting in my cozy down vest (our apartment is cold) and knitting while half asleep.

  Baller! My coworker's sister at Coach said THESE are on "delete", so I got 3 of the black and 3 of the coral color as BM gifts (plus one for me) for $15 each. I think I'll hit up Sephora sometime during the Christmas season and get one or two of their holiday kits for stuff to fill the bags with, and then I'll get gift cards or something for each girl to a place each one likes... and maybe candy or something to that each one likes? I dunno. I'll definitely still give them a custom feel. I have a long time to think about it. BUT YAY FOR GETTING AWESOME STUFF FOR CHEAP!
