    For real, they can get a hotel like all adults with children. 

    God I love living in a tiny apartment. It's so easy to be like, "ooooh, sorry. Wish I could, but we just literally have no bed for you."

    (I'm already getting to the point where I feel my friends should be adult enough to get a damn hotel if they're just "in the city for a few days" without my having expressly invited them to stay and see me).

    @doeydo is right, I am geting married on Saturday. MOH saved my butt today and cut out all my escort cards and folded all my programs and basically did all the cool kid things that I was too overwhelmed to do.

    Why do people even think this is ok? My FI told me last night a friend of his asked to stay at our house for THREE DAYS before the wedding, and FI said yes. Uh, what?? My sister is even staying at a hotel, and she *always* stays at our house when she visits. Unfortunately FI thinks I'm a bit bridezilla for being upset about it.

    Good luck, ladies! The day will FLY by so don't forget to breathe and take a few moments with your new DHs to just take it all in. Stay hydrated, make sure you eat, and try your hardest to roll with the punches because things don't always go perfectly to plan.

    God! Daughter and Fiancé did that to me while I was loading everything up and the house and porch were covered with flowers and all things wedding. Seriously? Yes, let me go clean a room and find fresh sheets and play hostess. Hell, no.

    I actually am letting MOH and 2 other friends stay at my house... because my mom got me a hotel room so I wouldn't have to drive so far to the venue. So I will be there by myself in the quiet and they can sleep on my couch.

    @Inkdancer‌ it might have been a different story with some advance notice, but you can't tell me at 4pm that we're having overnight guests at 10. It's not in my schedule to be packed and have the guest room cleaned up tonight!

    Well the veil is done. The wedding stuff is packed. FBIL is in a hotel. Still missing 3 escort cards and a sign for the guest book (only cuz it's somewhat nontraditional; if it was a standard guest book I know it wouldn't need a sign). Honeymoon packing is a nightmare and I just heard there are railroad strikes going on in Spain. I'm so tired. Centerpieces in the morning. Pray for me, lol.
