Oh goodness, I would melt every time the dance scene came on. I wanted to be Jocelyn in that movie so badly.

WHICH REMINDS ME, I really cannot believe I forgot to mention the Heath singing scene in 10 Things I Hate about You. And the majority of other scenes in that movie too. But that scene...yum.

    Casablanca - this scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o43JHFPefmY

Kissing Jessica Stein - when Jess is telling her friend about her new lady, it's just hilarious.

I'm also a big fan of the "take a whack at Wheezer" scene in Steel Magnolias too :)

Haha, I'm pretty good at the accent too buuuuut I don't have to try too hard, being that it is my home state, ;) I do NOT talk that way normally though, I promise.

I love watching it with people who have never seen it before because their reactions are pretty funny. It is a movie that is really hard to predict when you first watch it.

Did you ever see Exit to Eden?...I only went because he was in it.  VERY odd movie.  Didn't care for it.

When MOH and I saw Strictly Ballroom in the theatres, many moons ago, we were the only ones in there who understood the dad's rantings in Spanish near the end.  We were rolling in our seats and everyone else was just looking at us.  We also use "I'm wearing my happy face." a lot.

You'll appreciate this.  My family and I were visiting the Smithsonian and wandering around the garden.  My dad went in front of me down the steps and said, "Walk THIS way."  From across the garden, a complete stranger cried out, "My grandfather worked for your grandfather."  We all laughed.  Some tourists from Japan looked at us like we were nuts.
  • Other random fact related to Drop Dead Gorgeous-- My friend's older sister was in one of the dance teams that is filmed in the parade during that movie.

I know no one cares, but Ouiza is the actual name from Steel Magnolias. I met a lady not too long ago named Ouiza.

ETA: but according to IMDB, it's spelled with an er. hrm.

The scene in the restaurant in Love Actually with Colin Firth.  OMG, I cry.

The end of the Disney-fied "A Little Princess".  Usually I am a purist when it comes to film adaptations, but you know what?  Sometimes you just want a happy ending where everything turns out okay.

That dance scene in Enchanted.  That was the last song they played at our wedding.

ETA: And the entire ending of Kill Bill Vol. 2.  I love those movies so much.

  • I like the screen in 500 Days of Summer when they are playing the penis game in the park. I guess you could say I like ever part of that movie.

I also love the end scene in Juno, right after she has the baby and her dad is talking to her and then Paulie comes to see her.

Those have to be two of my favorite movies.
