  @FOXANDBUNNY they're beautiful! That would have been cruel if he got down on one knee- good thing he decided against it!

  FI got my earrings before off one of those auction sites and told me they were coming. So when he received them he gave them to me by getting down on one knee. I was 99% sure they were the earrings but STILL, you just don't do that!

  I did the same when bf gave me my earrings.  I've had them in for a year now, I did swap them out with a pair from his parents for a few months, then back to the sparkly ones  I keep mine in for showers, sleeping, everything.  They don't budge.

  Love the idea of G2Gs.  Who cares where you meet someone as long as they're awesome?  Maybe someday @CocoBellaF and I can convince you all to come to our neck of the woods.  :-)

  
  

  This weekend involves me coming back from a conference and probably totally crashing.  Sunday I have to drive to campus (60 miles away) to go to the library to return some books so I can avoid that absolutely ludicrous $5/day interlibrary loan fines.  Ugh.

  After this week I'm kinda glad to just sit down and kick my feet up.  I have some house stuff to get caught up on today, but other than that no plans.

  
  

  My last living grandmother died on Sunday, and I've been dragging through the work week just to get a break.  Luckily I was out of state at an event on Sunday with my best friend so I had support with me and a healthy amount of distraction for the first 12 hours or so after hearing the news.  BF was good about playing phone & text tag with me to check on me throughout the day as well.  My mom asked me to sing or read a poem next month at her "Celebration of Life" (they aren't having a funeral service) so now my brains trying to come up with something fitting but not too depressing.

  
  

  In happier news, my mom and I are meeting up with my FSIL tomorrow and her mom to see her wedding dress
