High point of your year?

Re: High point of your year?

  • Our high points were definitely signing the contract to build our first home together and getting a puppy!

I'm looking forward to 2015 when we'll get to actually break ground on the house and move in by summer!  We're so over our apartment.

-DH got his first call to the area I've been living in, so we didn't have to move and I didn't have to leave the job I love.
    -DH finished grad school
-DH got ordained as a pastor
    -We got married
-Amazing vacation to Maine and Atlantic Canada
    -We bought our first house
    -We found out we're expecting

I'd say that makes for a pretty full year. :)

  • Graduating from college.  I guess the move a few weeks after was a sort of a high point. At the time, it was, but now we're sort of having second thoughts of whether we should have moved.  And now we're without family for the holidays because of the move.  Oh well, too late to go back now.
  • Getting married!!

Going to Antigua for our honeymoon! What a dream!

Building and closing on our first house!!

Next up for 2015: baby? *blinks eyelashes at DH while smiling*

Also we moved from bumblefuck nowhere to the twin cities in a way better, cheaper apartment and we FINALLY got a doggy.

  • 2014 was just a nice year generally for us. Drove to California and back in January, skied almost every weekend from then until May, went to two outdoor music festivals, took a week to camp and hike in the Rockies in August, got engaged, and this fall I had some significant stuff happen at work that we'd been waiting for almost a year. We stayed happy, healthy, employed, and in love, so yeah...just consistently good stuff.

  • I have 3 so suck it.

I got engaged, graduated and landed my first job in the career I am pursing. In that order.
