I bought my dress on preownedweddingdresses.com, but it's new with tags. It's called Briar Rose by Lauren Elaine. Never heard of the designer before, but I fell in love with the dress immediately and haven't had an ounce of regret.
Here is mine. I originally liked dresses with more details and more ball gownish. But I love my dress. Our reception is downtown in a nice restaurant and I think this dress is just perfect. I plan on getting a different belt and a long veil.
Totally just tried this on for fun thinking the fairy tale thing was so cliched/overblown, but was completely blown away by the actual dress. I can't wait until April when it comes in and I can finally try it on again.
I ordered mine back in August and I just picked it up the other day. It's Emma by Maggie Sottero. Sleeveless and corset back. I added the blingy belt to complete the look.
I chose a Stella York dress for my big day. I never thought I would like a more fitted gown (always pictured myself wearing an A-line dress), but it's absolutely beautiful with the perfect amount of lace/bling!
I honestly like it better on myself than on the model in the photo. I never had a moment when I felt like it was "the one," but I'm really happy in it and it's a beautiful dress. It's not at all what I expected to get! I hope I still love it as much when I go to get my first fitting as I did when I ordered it.

My dress is considered pretty "old" for today fashion and such. I bought it back in 2012 and will be wearing it in my November 2015 wedding.
It was definitely not the dress I was expecting to wear or even try on. But once I put it on, I knew that it was it. My "girlfriends" kept telling me to try different things and that other dresses looked better but there was just something about this one.
I added the straps and had to bring up the hem quite a bit due to my height. Unfortunately, that meant that a third layer of lace is hidden. Its more visible in the back when the train is down and I didn't get any pics before they bustled it.
My dress is Melissa Sweet from David's Bridal...I went in having literally no idea what I wanted! I love the lace underlay and beading on top. I do wish it had more of a sweetheart neckline, though...is that a hard alteration to do?
Re: Show us your dresses!
There's mine! Tracking says she'll be here Tuesday, can't wait!
