Wedding Boots - Wow me ladies :)

I am doing a winter wedding at a ski lodge and I'm a boot person, I LOVE boots! We will be taking some pictures outside and I would like to wear them for the entire wedding. I am only 5 foot but my man is only 5'6" so I can get away with little to no heel just fine (and would prefer 1-2" max). I have been searching and searching for a fun gray boot I can wear and I can't seem to find any that really "wow" me and will hold up being out in the snow. I'm pretty set on an a-line dress, so a little poof but not ball gown so the boots will be hidden.. I love my knee highs but also have and wear lots of ankle boots.. Looking for suggestions from your fashion ladies! My thoughts were mine knee high and buy my ladies ankle boots?

Sorry. Gray boots that can go in the snow in any way and still look okay with a dress are practically unicorns.

I know what you mean!!! I'm struggling.. I have the sorels with the knit top, the toe would look good but the knit won't work! I like the top ones you posted though! Thinking I can do something like that and waterproof them?

Definitely waterproof them, but I wouldn't expect them to stay warm while you're outside.
