Okay, so there are some cute things going on (hand-illustrated invitations!) but MY GOD it's like a Pinterest board threw up on this wedding. If you feel like snarking (and somehow can't find something to snark on over at the WP board...), then you're welcome.

Way too much going on. There is so much unnecessary signage and just "stuff" in general.

Okay. I'll be the first to admit that I love pink. My BM's are going to wear pink. We will have pink flowers (among others) in our bouquets, but that is too much pink. TOO. MUCH.

Also, can we talk about how bad ombre is in your wedding?? I have a feeling that ombre/burlap/lace is going to be the "poofy sleeves" of this generation.

This should be a cautionary tale of when DIY takes you way way over the crazy line. Some of this stuff in isolation could be cute and instead it just feels like someone dumped a box of pink tissue paper and glitter on the venue and SHOOK IT.

That it would.

It would not, however, explain the apparent willingness to look a fool when you put your writing in the public eye.

(I have much sympathy for non-published, informal writing mistakes. I have NONE for things that are deliberately placed in public view. I am an asshole, but I maintain that I'm right.)

Also, I tend to start glossing over things that are that unified. Like, it all became a sea of pink so I couldn't even focus on all of it. Like, there was a dress code? Missed it. "Threat" bags? Nope. All I saw was Pepto.

Yes. I think the bigger crime is the fact that if you can look past the pink, the venue is GORGEOUS. Why would you cover that up with all these cheap looking decorations?
