Dress fitting today! And I ate way too much recently (eek!)

Okay, this is probably all in my head, but I'm totally worried my dress won't fit today.  I had my bridal shower about a week and a half ago and there was so much cake (and leftover cake) and so much other food.  And wine.  And it's been SO cold and icy so I've been slacking a little about going to the gym.  And now I'm totally freaked out that my dress won't fit and they'll call me fat at the store and I'll cry.  (Okay, maybe not that last bit, but I'll feel like they're calling me fat).

Please cross your fingers for me!!

    Thank you!  I think I just needed some reassurance.  I don't want it to not fit and then my mom calling me to ask what I'm eating for the next 9 weeks (she's coming to the fitting).  Ugh, at least I don't eat when I'm stressed haha

    No worries, it will be fine! And don't feel bad if it's a little snug, that does NOT mean you are fat! My dress was too tight when it came in and I'm a size 0 so whatever. My fitting is next weekend and I'm a tiny bit nervous but they can do small adjustments to most dresses to loosen it up a bit so don't stress! 

    I'm sure you will look amazing no matter what!

    When I'm stressed, my tummy is in knots and I have no appetite.  I think I lost about 20 pounds when I was studying for the bar.

    I just had my final fitting last night and went in with the same feelings - my shower was Saturday.. so much champagne and goodies. I was absolutely certain the seamstress would tell me to stop eating for the next month. But it all went fine and yours will too!! It's all in your head. Have fun!! :)

    I'm sure it will be great! I was a little worried when I tried on my dress on Sunday (I was just picking it up from the store but they let me try it on). I know I've been seriously slacking on the diet front. Just so much junk. But it fit fine. And I know yours will too! 

    Try not to think of it as being too fat and think of it as the dress being mis-proportioned for your body. The straps on my dress were tight, but I know it's because I have gigantic shoulders - I'm pretty sure they haven't changed since I've gained a few pounds at measuring. And if you feel it's bad, you can focus on food or exercise for the next few weeks. Only becuase you want to, not because you have to.

    Good luck!!

    When I was on the phone sobbing to my best friend about my wedding pics being gone, she was like let's put on the dresses for new and better pictures! And I was like that dress will not fit me! She laughed and said something like of course it will, it's been a few months. And I was like dude you do NOT understand. I had to work out and diet for the tight silhouette to barely fit for the wedding.....it barely fit when I was dieting. Now it's been 6 months of cookies, pizza, and chips! I had to buy jeans 2 sizes up and new underwear hahaha. But it's all good, we decided next time my parents fly here, we're gunna get them and my brother's family together for a family photo shoot in normal clothes...and I may wear my wedding lace headband for the hell of it :)

    That's exactly how I felt yesterday. I may have even twirled a time or two. Soak it all in - like you said, just one day!

    OMG you guys, I know I said it last night, but I just can't believe how beautiful my dress is.  I just looked at a picture I took on my cell phone and started crying at work.  I know it isn't really the dress, but it just makes me feel so beautiful and I can't wait to marry my FI in it!  It's all just SO REAL now!

    I can't upload pictures at work (stupid government computer!), but I will when I get home!!
