That's funny Lynda. Autumn is laying in front of her food dish. As if that will convince me to feed her early. I'm trying to push her dinner back in the hopes that she will stop waking me up at 6 AM every morning.
Yeah, I get mileage. We don't get federal mileage rate, but I can claim the difference on our taxes. Even so, I get massive mileage checks. March's mileage check was bigger than my March salary.
I live 0.5 miles from work. My 'commute' takes about 45 seconds- 1 minute, depending on if I hit the light!
Evening! I'm home by myself until about midnight. H started swing shift today. It's always strange around shift change. I have a hard time making dinner for 2, so making dinner for 1 is really hard. It always turns into dinner for 8.

I miss getting mileage checks, but at the same time the drive gets to be annoying at times.
I'm getting reimbursed almost $400 for my trip to Philly last week between meals and mileage. Insane I tell you.

Thanks J. I'm looking forward to it. I'll miss the kids I have gotten to know and a lot of my coworkers. But I'm so looking forward to more sleep and less drive.

Hi. Do I know you, or are you new? Your SN is fun to say.
OMG - My DH is awesome and a bad influence at the same time.
I'm PMSing and was craving Ben and Jerry's Milk and cookies ice cream (which btw is the best ice cream EVER). Anyway, he came home from going out and brought some home and served it to me. Woohoo.
Well just now I actually opened the freezer. He bought FOUR of them. FOUR ! I had a craving but FOUR. He knows there is no way ice cream will stay in the freezer for more than a few days. Damn him.
Apparently he bought out Walgreen's of Milk and Cookies.
What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
It is a biittch to do zizi, every time I've changed mine I had half a dozen people help me. Mari and I took over a morning thread for about 2 pages last time.

Stlrz, luckily I don't mind the driving, I've always commuted, and it's nice wind down time between clients or before I get home.

ETA - Erin, I really envy you. I get gas at least once a week.
