@Peaseblossom55 - UGH I miss Game of Thrones! I got out of it a couple seasons back and am determined to get FI into it with me! We need a new show to bingewatch.

@TwoDimes - Glad your weekend was alright! Sorry to hear about Indy though, pet puke is always worse in the car!

@eilis1228 - I feel like the next month is just going to be insane. We have a whole bunch of vendors to meet with and pay and decisions to make about the house, not to mention to actual moving and getting married!

@AlPacina - We got a pair of LG front loaders. They are pretty and shiny and new and alllll ours (in 3 weeks). The appliances in my apartment aren't bad, but I'm exicted for better ones lol

Change of plans! H and I are going to the movies to see It Follows tonight. I am obsessed with scary movies so I hope this one lives up to the hype.

Has anyone seen it yet?

@CocoBellaF I forgot about that sale! I got THIS dress... white isn't really a great color on me though (my wedding dress is ivory), so I may end up returning it. Hard to beat 50% off with free shipping though! Thanks for the tip! LOL and I would love to see you crash the wedding.

@swazzle I haven't seen It Follow but FI really wants to. He's also obsessed with scary movies and I HATE them. Every once in awhile I will compromise and see one in theater with him but I just end up with my face in his arm the whole time. Let me know if you think it's good!

Howdy. This is definitely a very yucky Monday. I feel like I spent all weekend running but got very little done (even though I did).

So, I moved Saturday! I am officially on my own! It definitely took help to get me there, though, so I consider myself a very lucky girl. Ugh, so all of the people who had said they would help bailed on me last week, M was out of town, and all the men in my family were either working or just flat out refused to help, so I spent a good chunk of Saturday morning wondering if I was going to get to move this weekend. Then my mom and her best friend were like, "Let's just do it. You don't have that much to move." So in 3.5 hours, I was in my new place! They are incredible!

On Sunday I promptly began to enjoy the excitement of living on one's own. My kitchen sink started leaking a huge puddle when I tried to wash my dishes, the ice maker wouldn't work, the dishwasher wasn't secure at all and kept wobbling around...ugh. So I left a message for maintenance, did some grocery shopping, and then took a nap before work last night, throughout most of which M sent me cute texts. *cue cheesy grin*

I got home around 8 this morning and collapsed for a couple hours before maintenance came to fix all of my problems. I should be good to go now (but cross your fingers since I'm about to try doing laundry for the first time, and who knows how that will turn out with all the other issues). And Verizon should be getting here any minute to install cable and Internet, so I'm just gonna stay up and hope this Dr. Pepper will keep me conscious while that's going on. I'm also attempting to put my TV on its stand, but that isn't working out so well for me, lol. I will sleep very well tonight!

This week I need to go find a couch, some lamps, and a coffee table. I really don't feel like moving anything else in here but my living room looks kind of silly right now.

Okay, I'm gonna go catch up with all of your posts now! Hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend!

@CLoGreenEyes I'm glad you're loving your new place even with all the issues! And it sounds like maintenance was right on top of fixing everything up! YAY for adulting!

@TwoDimes Our vet told us to give Cinders so much based on her weight. So it was like half a pill at one point. That way you don't overdose. Either way, I hope she outgrows the car sickness too!! I didn't know it could just be a puppy thing (we were giving Benadryl purely as a GO TO SLEEP method lol).

Also, congrats on coming in under budget on flowers! YAY!!! I definitely came in way overbudget on flowers lol....

@TwoDimes - YAY for flowers under budget! Our quote was under budget as well, and should stay that way...I think! I'm meeting with the florist on Thursday so hopefully nothing will change. Doesn't matter how much under, anything that's not over is absolutely a win!

@CLoGreenEyes - Kolachki are a pasty/cookie (I believe they are Polish). They're pretty simple to make - 4 ingredients (dough is - cream cheese, butter, flour - then jam or nut filling)

The movie was creepy as hell and I jumped multiple times and I'm not going to lie, when I showered this morning sometimes I was scared to open my eyes after shampooing and whatnot LOL but omg it was easily one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen in my life.

Sounds like that is right up FI's alley and I will NOT be accompanying him to the movie theater to watch it lol.
