    @swazzle good question; before and after pictures!

    The only room that is completely finished (other than needing trim) is the living room.  The bedroom will have carpeting.  The bathroom currently does not have a toilet, and we still need to paint the tub. The white gap in the kitchen is where the backsplash is going to end up.  We also decided we're painting the cabinets a cherry finish. I'm horrible and do not have anything of the guest room so I'll get those pictures today.

    In each collage the picture on the left is the before.  1. Bathroom 2. Kitchen & Dining room (top left is original) 3. Living room 4. Master bedroom

    @speakeasy14 - The living room, in particular, looks absolutely wonderful! It looks like you guys have done a ton of work!

    And wow, that blue room was.............. interesting. I recently saw a house for sale on zillow where 90% of the rooms were painted bright purple. One room, maybe. A whole house? NO.

    @swazzle your dining room color looks like what we painted the guest room.  Have you tried shifting your dining table to the left so that it gives the illusion that the window is centered?

    @alpacina I couldn't decide what was worse, between the hideous wallpaper, 70s style paneling, or that ridiculous bright blue (which the guest room had an accent wall with the same obnoxious color).  An entire house the same ugly color!?! I really don't understand the way people think when they decorate. I love the way the living room came out.  Knocking out the wall makes this tiny house appear a little more spacious.

    I'm in an even worse mood this afternoon because I've been discovering what a shit job my co-worker has been doing at our branch while I was helping cover another one. There's a bunch of little things I have to do each day that she has just been letting pile up and claiming she doesn't remember how to do anymore. It's total bullshit because it's all easy and she could have called or IM'd me to ask instead of letting everything pile up so it was pain in the ass for me when I got back. And now that this is starting to cause problems, I'm getting all the phone calls and e-mails about it because everyone assumes it's mine fuck-up since I'm the one who usually handles it. I just needed to get that vent out!!

    I would punch the builder in the face for doing that, and then I would make it bigger or move it in order to center it. My OCD wouldn't let me be in that room.

    @bethsmiles - *hugs* ............ And here's to hoping that the perfect job shows up for you sooner rather than later. :S The only aspects of my job that I hate are the ones where I rely on someone else to do their elements so that I can succeed at my tasks.

    @jenna8984 - I used to LOVE Gushers!!! Mmmmmm

    @speakeasy14 - What you can't see in the picture is that the doorway I'm standing in is centered with the room/chandelier/table. So, if I moved the table over to line up with the window, everything else would be off-center. 

    @beanbot2002 - I told H last night that I need that window moved. And he said it would be easier to just make it bigger. So, all I know is that at some point in time, that window will no longer be the bane of my existence.

    @swazzle I've had the gushers in my desk for 2 days and just got around to eating a pack. So disappointing! There is hardly any "gush" inside. Boooooooo

    Which reminded me of another thing from childhood. I saw a FB post that said Remember when Trix were actual shapes? Now they are just balls.....unless they are still shapes and we just can't see them because Trix are for kids! LOL mind fuck!
