You ladies are so fashion forward, I need to catch up! My toes have a chipped pedi from January, should really look into fixing that, and my fingers have hot pink gel polish on them that is grown out for 3 weeks.. Yep, I'm a mess!
I struggle with a good top coat.. what is everyone's favorite?
seche vite is my favorite top coat... and I use rejuvacote for my base coat.
They're SO cool. They had a special 5/$30 mystery box last week so I got that, and the colors were awesome as hell. I was really hoping for a super holographic one, but the most I got is one color (Slap Happy) that's sorta holographic mixed in with regular glitter.
I haven't had any on my hands (beyond swatching each color on a nail) to actually test the longevity, but I liked how it applied on my toes.
Plus, the founder and her husband are both webcomic artists, AND they're from Ohio, so I have a keen interest in supporting them in basically any of their endeavors.
Ugh Jamberry. Dont' get me started. As a blogger, they are my worst nightmare. They are like bed bugs you can't get rid of and a pyramid scheme you can't escape. And they steal blogger designs constantly (as does KISS) and doesn't pay them for it and it's just shitty. SHITTY I SAY!

I fucking hate Jamberry. Everyone keeps inviting me to their stupid parties because they "know I like nail polish." YES I like POLISH, not your damn pyramid scheme stickers. I don't need you to make my nails look nice. Go away.
I bought Jamberry once. Used it once and never again. It is crap.
Although I will say that I have had some glitter polish be really tough to get off and at least the Jamberry peels off. Although, it peels off.....so, yeah.

I'm going to throat-punch someone if I get added to any more Jamberry parties on Facebook. I've been invited to AT LEAST 10 a month. And they're all people in the same circle. How much money do you think we all have that we'd be buying stupid nail stickers from all of you?!
So many places make stickers, if you like them, that I don't even get why you would go for a ponzi scheme version. It's like those stupid $20 false lash parties - yeah, I could do that, or I could go to literally any makeup store and get them for under $5.
I don't get using stickers for really simple designs either. I can't paint 1-2 colors on my nails just fine. I took a chance on the space ones because I cannot get that look (I know there are pinterest tutorials, but get out of here with that shit).
I want some super-insane holographic glitter nail polish. And again, the Lying color, which I just found out turns different colors when it's hot or cold.

I love thermal polishes. I have a bunch of them but after about 6 months they don't really work anymore unfortunately.
The most vibrant holos are still the color club ones. You can find them on Amazon usually.
I've used some brand of nail polish stickers (I think Maybeline or Revlon or something? I dunno, some major grocery store brand) and they were FANTASTIC. They stayed on pretty long (and even smelled like nail polish when you opened them up).
I'm not allowed to wear nail polish at the hospital so I'm a total amateur. Going in for a bridal manicure tomorrow. Any suggestions from the experts?
Do you want something bold and fun or more classic?
If you're looking for a classic look, something soft and white or pink sheer would be Essie Ballet Slippers, Mademoiselle or Marshmallow. If you want a little fun, having silver glitter on top is an awesome look! If you're willing to go bold, I love a light blue nail on a bride for your something blue!

I wear nail polish once in a VERY blue moon, so for the wedding I did just a really sheer, pearly white on all my nails, with some sparkles on my ring fingers.
Re: Since I know We have a lot of nail lovers in here
Although I may need to get my hands on that sparkly gold stuff someone posted back in the thread.
@laqueredlover any recommendations for a good cuticle moisturizer?
