Morning! How was the rest of your Monday and what's your Tuesday looking like?

H and I ordered pizza for dinner last night because I just really didn't feel like cooking and he had finished cleaning the house when I was getting home from work so he wasn't up for it either. Then ran to the mall where I got a new pair of grey pants from H&M because only 1 of the 4 pairs I ordered last week fit. I also got the most comfortable sweatpants on the entire planet from Old Navy for a lovely $10. They are THESE in charcoal grey and I will be wearing them while traveling and no fucks will be given.

Today, I'll get home from work around 6:15, H's friend is stopping by so we can show him what to do with the kitters, I have to finish packing, and H has to start. Only two more sleeps until I leave and only one of those will be at home!

Last night I was supposed to go food shopping on the way home but I just wasn't feeling it. I laid around until it was time to go to dinner for MIL's birthday. While I was waiting I was getting emails from the rental agent asking about our cat so I figured she was talking to the landlord of the place we want. I check my email this morning and there's one from her saying sorry, he went with someone else. It had to be the cat- we have amazing credit, references and we're a young couple and my H works in law enforcement! I'm so mad and upset. Like I'm tearing up at my desk. I feel so silly since this is nothing compared to what other people are going through but I'm so upset - there is nothing is our budget that covers what we need/want. I don't know what we're going to do.

My Monday evening was alright. Was feeling sad yesterday afternoon (for no reason except stupid hormones), so I went home, snuggled Baxter in bed, and read a book on my iPad. Thankfully dinner was super easy, so I chucked it in the oven and made myself do a work out. I was really proud at the end because I was busting out those push-ups like no one's business. Sort of. Ate dinner, played in the dirt (worked in the garden), took a bath, read some more, and went to bed.

I have a zillion meetings today. I don't feel awake quite yet, so I'm chugging my Starbucks coffee and my breakfast shake. Hopefully I wake up. I'm wearing a new dress from @helloliv and my hair is freshly washed. Obviously it's going to be a good day, right?

My house cleaner is coming by for a touch-up clean and I have a massage tomorrow after work. Can't wait.

@Swazzle Give me those sweat pants!!! They look so comfortable!

I didn't get much done yesterday because I went out to dinner with a friend of mine with my mom and her mom. She is getting married next April so we talked about wedding stuff a lot. When I got home though I saw that DH mowed the lawn, fixed our faulty fire alarms, put stuff in the attic, and got a lot of things done around the house. I just love that man. He is the best.

Tonight I plan to give Maddux a bath....we shall see how this goes lol. I thought about taking him to the groomers but he doesn't like the blow dryer so I'll have DH help me wash him in his kiddy pool in the back yard lol.

Also I slept like a rock last night and it was amazing! This weekend totally threw me off.

I got about 9 hours of sleep last night, so I'm feeling pretty good. I passed out right after the MNF game ended. Who were those guys and what did they do with the Bucs?

Today I have my first class as a nontraditional student - Elements of Accounting I. "Terminal degree" sounds so ... final, so I'm going to take some business classes and prep for an MBA. If I get hired by the college, I'll have found the perfect excuse to be a professional student.

@lavenderfields13 - Are sublets a thing in your area? Or a long-term Airbnb rental? I know all places are different but I found every apartment I had through Craigslist and I only ever dealt with the actual landlord of the building which made things much easier (and cheaper).

@CocoBellaF - What book are you reading? I finished the third book in The Maze Runner series and I'm regretting that decision (I wish I had saved it for the plane).

@southernpeach89 - They are amazing! I'm going to live in them, I want 10 more pairs.

@KeptInStitches - Holy crap, 9 hours?! I'm SO jealous!

@Swazzle - I just finished reading a few of Ciji Ware's books. Now I'm reading The Milliner's Secret (Kindle Unlimited). So far I really like it. I downloaded a few books from Kindle Unlimited on my iPad last night.

Morning everyone! I start my last semester for my MPA tonight; I'm not looking forward to 3 hours of lecture tonight. I just realized the other night that I have spent 25 years in school, I'm ready for it to be over.

Last night we had dinner with my bf's mom. Then we went over to my mom's to pick up my laundry that I had left last week. We had Callie with us and my mom's one cat hasn't handled the move well. As soon as she realized Callie was there, she came out from hiding and was being really social. Which made me feel bad when we left.

Tonight will be a quick dinner night, and then I have class until 10. Tomorrow we have to finish cleaning out my mom's house before the electric is shut off and the bank changes the locks. It's been hard for my mom to pack up and leave, but I keep telling her that it is just a house, and the memories come with us.

Today is just surreal really. I feel like it should be happy but it's not. Luckily the hospital I am going to today is not the same one I'd go to, when I have a full term baby. I will know soon when I have to be at the hospital. This all sucks so badly. I just want to cry. Luckily we can begin to try with Peaseblossom 2.0 2-3 months later. We did decide to name her yesterday though- Anneliese Marie. We are naming her after Anne Frank. Luckily I will get to hold her and see her after she is born.

Sorry to be such a downer, for some reason it helps to share :-) I would be lost without you guys and your friendship.

Last night I unpacked both my suitcases and put away all my clean clothes. It's probably a record for me to be totally unpacked within 24 hours of getting home from a trip. Then I paid some bills and hung out with my MIL for a little bit.

The next two nights we have two other managers (my peers) visiting from out of town, so we'll have a happy hour and dinner each night. It won't be totally awful, but I'd rather spend that time with my MIL.

This morning I went and did crossfit and now I'm going to chow the shit out of a bagel with peanut butter. Yum.

@speakeasy14 - Agreed. Also, what's the deal with sweatpants and pumps? I was looking for those sweatpants online to post here and show a friend and while googling, there were tons of pics of sweatpants paired with pumps. I can't get on board with that.

@peaseblossom55 - I am so incredibly sorry that you're going through this and for the loss of your baby. Her name is beautiful and I'm glad you'll be able to hold her and spend some time with her. Please don't apologize, we're always here for you.

Morning ladies! Yesterday afternoon = no bueno. I took a half day which was supposed to be a fun half day but the worst extreme nausea came out to get me combined with extreme dizziness. I almost fainted at my desk. Thank God H was home yesterday and came to get me. I think it was too much sun and drinking from the weekend....I haven't been that sick in a long time.

@swazzle - I'm so excited for you for your trip! Love those pants too!

@peaseblossom55 - I've been praying for you guys. All the hugs. ETA - I saw your update when I was posting. I just want to cry for you guys. Anneilese Marie is loved. Hugs.

@keptinstitches - I'm insanely jealous of your 9 hours of sleep....seriously I got like two last night.

@twodimes - Our grocery bills were getting insane. Meal planning has helped us cut them in half. We end up eating the same two to three meals about six nights a week but it was worth it.

@speakeasy14 - 25 years in school does seem like forever. I think I was close to that after law school and glad to be done.

Rajah got me up FIVE freaking times last night guys. That's a record even for him. I need coffee. I have a busy day today and a work event after work. I'll be going light on the wine drinking after yesterday plus last night and drinking a ton of water today.

@swazzle those pants look awesome and lead me down a rabbit hole of all their other clearance items...I want to buy so much but I hate not trying stuff on since ON is weird with their sizes. I swear some of my pants there are a 2 and some are a 10, so I never know with them!

@twodimes I swear every time that I'm like "oh yes I have meat in the freezer, this will be a small grocery week!" - it never is. It never fucking is, I always spend a lot and I don't know how haha

@speakeasy14 did your mom foreclose? That sounds sad, just happened to my good friend's mom as well and I know she had such a tough time with it.

I really feel like my boss is an idiot sometimes. Like he just came to me asking what account to hit for a journal entry and I'm like well if you're trying to reverse this, you need to hit the same accounts, you can't just pick one out of thin air...and he's like well this hit in Sept but the inventory hit in August. I'm like an entry cannot hit two different periods....that's not possible... it's just frustrating- like I'm 30, you're 55 you should not be the one asking me how to do this, and making more money than me.

Anyways....just 3 more work days then I'm off Friday to close on the house!! So flippin anxious!

@jenna8984 - Their sizing is fucking ridiculous. I tried on so much stuff in the store yesterday and not one thing fit properly (except my amazing sweatpants). I'm generally a true medium/6. Half the shit was too small, half the shit was too big. It's bizarre.

@swazzle most sublets I've seen are just 1 room in a house or apartment with other people. I've been STALKING Craiglist and a lot of stuff on there is listed by agents so they're still charging broker fees which is ridiculous. I'm also pissed because I just wasted $60 on application fees to apply for this fucking place.

@twodimes I usually spend between $85 and $120 on groceries and I'm like what the hell did I get for that much money??

Oh hi there!

Yesterday was a crazy busy day. The girls went back to school (OMG how do I have a 5th grader?!) Everything went fairly smooth. We ended up doing a fend for yourself dinner last night which was a nice treat since the girls came home so ravenous.

This morning was a huge success getting them out of the house on time and completely ready. Lunches packed and everything! No arguing, no tears, and on time! Tonight we have soccer, but I think I'm going to stay home with little O and edit a session I did last week. I really need to get those wrapped up since I have 2 other sessions to edit too!

Last night was awesome! Margarita Monday! Then DH and I caught up on Bachelor in Paradise since we missed it on Sunday. He also mowed and watered the lawn. It's so nice to see how much the grass is filling in since we bought the house. It really is looking like a nice, lush yard now!
Tonight is gym night and I'm thinking about trying a new bbq chicken recipe. Also, DH and I need to book our rental car for our Smoky Mountains trip in October. It's coming up so fast!

@southernpeach89 - how funny. I remember my dogs (when they were alive) LOVED baths especially the blow-drying part. They were usually outside though so maybe they just felt really good getting clean!
@KeptinStitches - I wouldn't mind being a professional student. I don't feel like I was adequately prepared for the real world. Working everyday kind of sucks.
@TwoDimes - DH and I marathon-ed the Office not too long ago. It never gets old!
@speakeasy14 - good luck with moving your mom. I know for us it will be especially hard someday bc my brother and I grew up in the same house our whole lives. So it will be a little weird when my parents no longer live there.
@Peaseblossom55 - what a beautiful name. I'm glad you can at least have some kind of closure to help with the healing process.
@cu97tiger - I love peanut butter. My new favorite snack is pb on rice cakes. So good!

Last night was a pretty lax night. We ended up starting to watch "Wet Hot American Summer" and tbh it's weird .... not like Sense8 weird, just strange lol

I'm just super tired today. I had terrible indigestion last night and didn't keep me up as long as typical but avoided coffee this morning. Now I'm dragging my ass and drinking skinny vanilla latte from Starbucks.

Tonight I need to swing by Sephora to buy some Benefit Big Easy stuff. I was gonna get a nail polish but I'm just holding off on that for now.

Oh! We also received another card in the mail from Matt's cousin with $100 pre paid visa. This weekend we're gonna pick up thank you cards and probably a filing cabinet for papers. We really need to get on the thank you cards ....

Last night was my first time back at work! All of the incoming 6th graders came in for orientation and to get their chromebooks. It was a madhouse. I met a couple of my students and their parents and thankfully they were all super eager and positive. It was a long night and a bunch of my coworkers and my principal went out for a drink afterwards and talked about how crazy the year will be. It's always crazy lol

Today I plan to clean and read. Monday will be back to full time work, so I definitely want to relax my body and mind before it's school 24/7.
