@misskittydanger I was at Michael's craft store the other day and they had all of their Halloween stuff out, and I commented on it at the register and the checkout girl said "Did you see the Christmas stuff in the back?"

They're so cute! It was great, but since both of the dogs outweigh me I was basically trapped and had to squrim my way out from under the blanket I was trapped under. I get to do it all again tomorrow

My body is so sore today. So glad it's my rest day from the gym!

Yesterday was productive! I worked out twice (hence the soreness), went to Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and Office Depot, co-cooked with FI to make a scrumptious steak dinner, read a bunch from my book, and knitted a tiny little bit while watching House Hunters with FI. Here's some pics of my loot:

I went to these places looking for envelope seals and clear labels for our wedding invitations. Hobby Lobby and Michael's are so dangerous for my wallet this time of year. Whoops!

My MOH is starting to stress me out about the day-of timeline and when her BF (soon to be FI) needs to be there for pics... I have not even started to think about pictures or what pictures I need/want. *sigh* I told her I'll get back with her on that... need to make the list and talk with the photographer first. I'll probably nail all that down next week. Sometimes having people "help" me plan ends up stressing me out. Yes, I know I need to make the list to send to the photographer soon so that I can start telling all of these family members when to be at the venue, but dude, I've got 2 months to do this. Yeesh!

Tonight I'm hanging out with @audrewuh! We're going to sew, and she's going to cook me a delicious BA meal. I'm really looking forward to it! I feel like I haven't seen her in forever, even though it's only been a few days.

Also, I just want to brag on how awesome my FI is. He texted me a few different groupons last night for a massage. He told me he really wants us to get a couples massage soon to help with some of the stress we've had lately. How sweet is that? He's the best!

Ah, I just found out I'll be in Kansas City for a few days in early October for a conference. Any NEYers in that area? I don't think so, but it doesn't hurt to ask. My boss informed me I'm the only one with availability for this conference, and I need to book the travel arrangements today. lol gotta love last-minute conferences.

@eilis1228 ugh yeah, we never brought the fridge or stove over. That's why I never chime in on what I'm having for dinner or planning on cooking/baking. Partly because we are taking the fridge from my mom's and my brother was still staying there. It has been cleaned out and unplugged for 2 weeks now, my bf just hasn't been able to get someone to help him move it. The stove is in his parents garage and ready to go. The other part of the problem is that he doesn't trust the electric yet, so wants to have an electrician check his work before we plug in major appliances. -- Love the frames you got!

@jstump2 this is the recipe I used minus all the other veggies besides broccoli lol. It's super easy and uses cream cheese instead of heavy cream. Although I do love me a nice rich alfredo with cream!

@speakeasy14 Oh wow, that sounds like such a headache! I'm glad it's all getting taken care of. I'd be miserable without a functional kitchen, so I can only imagine how you feel.

The frames were all 40% off, and I figured they would be really good for the wedding. We're doing a table of family wedding pictures, plus I'm using frames for a few food/bar-related signs, so I figured I should stock up. Of course, after the wedding I'm going to be stuck with all of these frames, but I'll worry about that later.

@lavenderfields13 Nope, he's not in the wedding party. We're doing all of the pics before the ceremony though, including family pics, and I guess she wants to make sure he knows when to be there. He's already said he's going to take a half day at work, so I don't really see why it matters that we have a specific time for him this far out, but whatevs. She'll have to wait since I don't have that information yet.

So I use AirFarewatchdog to get alerts on cheap flights and I'm a sad panda right now. Flights to Europe are ridiculously cheap. I can't book anything until I get my passport back and my house is done.

@buddysmom80 OMG yum! I love shrimp and grits! I've never made it myself so I give you props for that. I have a recipe for shrimp and grits casserole, I need to try it soon.

@CocoBellaF I've had a gift card for a massage since May. I've been hesitant to use it because I'm afraid it's going to make me sore which I definitely do not want right now. I'm thinking it will be a nice thing to use after Callie is born and my body is back to "normal".

@keptinstitches I don't know what it is about new outfits but they always make me feel extra special when I wear them for the first time lol.

Since I failed at giving Maddux a bath on Monday I'm giving him one this afternoon. Not much else going on except putting together the car seat base in the car and writing more thank you notes. I need to figure out what I'm doing for dinner tonight since DH is working late...I'll probably make a grocery store run and get something I can just whip together quickly. Pizza is not on the menu since we are having that Friday and Sunday with some friends lol.

OK gotcha @eilis1228 I was just thinking he was a friend's BF (why I couldn't make the connection that your MOH was family, IDK lol) and wondering why he thought he needed to be there for photos!

One of H's GM (friend, not family) asked if his GF (not in the WP) could ride in the limo with them..I was like ummm no- what is she going to be doing while the guys are taking pics? And our own parents didn't even take a limo on the ride over.

Hi girls.... Yesterday I had 2 interview which went ok. Then I baked sugar cookies (in 100 degree heat idk why) and made shrimp pasta with spinach for dinner. This morning I had a meeting for my current job and then Cory and I spent a few hours at the beach. It was AMAZING! The water was nice too...we picnic lunched with seafood and fries from the local fish market. Now we are relaxing I feel sunburned and it's still 100 degrees! He's asleep snoring and I'm not in the mood to make dinner....I, gonna order sushi I think and do pick it up and surprise him hmmmm Tomorrow I have 2 more interviews and hope I get one! That's all for now!
