It's not concrete but purple is my favorite color and I'm obsessed with all things Irish. So I *think* I'm going with the David's Bridal colors: Lapis (primary) and Emerald as the secondary.
We picked our colors. We are doing Navy Blue, Burgundy with Burnt Orange as the accent color. Getting excited as we are starting to make real decisions.
We haven't decided on a color scheme. We're planning a small, private ceremony without the bells and whistles and not really sure a color scheme is needed as flowers will probably be the only color we'll have to worry about. In reality we're both super indecisive
October 14. Turquoise, black, and white. Sunflowers are the only flower I'll have so I guess you can say yellow, too!
With how much time I have until the wedding though, it's entirely possible I'll change my colors to red, orange, gold, whatever Fall colors are around Chicago at the time. Less decorating since they'll make a huge statement against the black I'll be using.
My dress is metallic silver and I want a red rose theme. Can't decide if I prefer black or navy though. Black is easier but I saw a gorgeous navy tux that he would stunning in.
10/1/16 We're using Oxblood (a darker burgundy) and gold. The dress that I've fallen in love with has a pale gold underlay and the bridesmaids are wearing Oxblood dresses so it's all coming together perfectly!
Re: wedding colors
Navy blue and gold.
...and I just realized it'll look like a military wedding unless I balance the colors correctly. Ah, well.
We're doing hues of plum and burgundy!
Fall yellows and greens (think sunflowers and succulents)
Brown and grey (lighter shades)
Royal blue/gold
