I don't mind laugh tracks. I guess it's because that is what I grew up with watching. However, some shows the tracks are a little over the top, trying too hard in my opinion.

I think 2 Broke Girls in one of those shows. I thought the fist season was cute, but after that it fizzled for me and the laugh tracks made it worse.

I'm so excited for this ep to come out!
I think the show - like most - goes through phases of "meh" and "awesome!" They're one of the few shows I've actually been able to keep watching.

re: Sheldon becoming more human
I love how they keep referencing Spock, because in Star Trek some eps Spock was more human than Vulcan {and in the movies}

My personal favourite couple may be Penny and Leonard, but my fave friendship is Penny and Sheldon. He opens up to Penny more than any one else. He's allowed her into his space. It's sweet.

I saw the clip of the "big moment" (one might even say the "big bang!") and it was so sweet. I haven't been watching current seasons but I don't care about spoilers very much, so it was nice to see. I'm so happy for Shamy!!

It was cute. My favorite moment was when Sheldon said it exceeded his expectations and he was looking forward to doing it again on Amy's next birthday.

I was impressed that Sheldon sought opinions and advice from Penney and Bernadette. He realizes that he is impaired, and accepts advice from women.
I think Mayim Bialik is incredibly talented. Without her sense of comedic timing, the story line wouldn't work.

I watched it too! I enjoyed that episode- sweet and funny!

I have loved BBT from the get go, but I agree that last season was kind of meh. It's picked up again.

I'm married to an engineer, I have a friend who plays at international quiz bowl events and video game tournaments, as well as many other friends with eccentricities. Yes, the show is exaggerated in some senses, but there is underlying truth to it all.

I like watching the show but don't LOVE it. I seem to always catch it while I'm on vacation. I'm curious to get into it further, especially since my dad (who is 69) LOVES it.

And about Two Broke Girls, I'm glad other people don't like it either. It's so annoying.

Start from the beginning if you can. The characters become somewhat like your friends in a way that's hard to describe. I LOATHE Two Broke Girls. Worst show on TV for sure. Kat Dennings is so easy on the eyes, though!

I was so impressed with what they did and the Star Wars parallel {haha ... Will Wheaton!} I loved how the writers kept very true to the characters, and how Sheldon's slowly been becoming "more human"
