Good morning! I'm feeling much better today. Hoping to kick this 4-week long cold by the end of the week! Last night H came home and cooked dinner. He found some bbq wings in the frozen section that were 2 for $4 so we tried them. Disgusting. I know he felt bad but it wasn't his fault. I haven't had much of an appetite anyway. We watched Married at First Sight then a few talk shows before going to bed. I'm still sleeping on the couch (since I've been sick) which I have to say is actually more comfortable than our bed. He finally acknowledged that our bed has dips in it and it's time for a new one. So I'm hoping that sometime soon we can invest in a new bed. They are so important to your health!
Anyway, today my boss asked me to attend a meeting for her which sucks because I really just wanted to skate through this week. My nose is red and dry, my hair wasn't cooperating, and I was not excited to have to dress up more than usual. Oh well, first world problems I guess...

@swazzle - Both of those dinners sound great! Definitely take it easy - you don't want to push yourself and end up feeling worse!
@southernpeach89 - I bet it's so exciting each milestone the Callie achieves!
@CocobellaF - I hope you start feeling better soon.
@jenna8984 - Congrats on the new car!
@caseface5 - I hope you AW those frames once they are done.
@cu97tiger - I'm planning on watching AI too but I'll probably be fast-forwarding through most of it. I hate that shows like AI and The Voice drag on for like, 4 hours a day 3 days a week. It's ridiculous.
@minskat30 - Do you have any names you guys are throwing around? (You don't have to tell me which ones - I know some people don't like to share until baby is here!)
@speakeasy14 - Vermont sounds fun. I've never been but I have an aunt who lives there and I hear it is beautiful. So at least if you don't ski, you'll have some beautiful scenery!

What are you wearing? Grey pants, a plum-colored blouse and black blazer (with a cute polka-dot lining which shows when I cuff the sleeves). Too bad my hair isn't as cute today as my outfit.

Are there any movies out in the theaters that you want to see? Not really. I finally got around to watching The Martian which I really enjoyed.

Do you plan to watch the Golden Globes on Sunday? Maybe. I always check the best/worst dressed list the next day though.

What are you looking forward to this month? My birthday on the 15th! H and I are planning to go to the beach and stay at my parent's condo for a long weekend.

What's for lunch and dinner? Lunch is leftover sausage/potato/pepper/onion saute and fruit. Dinner will probably be tacos.

@beachyone15 - Nope, H and I aren't really discussing names until next week when we find out the gender. We will have a hell of a time agreeing on a name because of our cultural differences/affinities so I figured we would narrow down the discussion a bit by knowing the gender first so as not to argue about a name that won't fit the gender anyway

@speakeasy14 - Ugh to Gyn appointments. I hate them, other than lately. I hope yours is relatively painless.

What are you wearing?
Tan dress pants, a pink lightweight sweater (my sister calls it my Junior League sweater), and an Ivory cardigan over it because it's friggin cold.

What are you looking forward to this month?
Just got engaged, so starting to look at venues. I have my first appointment this Sunday. It's a beautiful mill with lovely gardens approximately 5 minutes from my house.

What's for lunch and dinner?
At work they're featuring a special salad today in our cafe, with candied walnuts, spring mix, blue cheese, and port wine balsamic vinaigrette. So that will be lunch.

For dinner I have Plated. I'm looking forward to making Steak gyros. @Swazzle
how do you like HelloFresh? I've been with Plated since they started like 2 years ago, but have been wanting to check out other services in addition to Plated. I seriously love it, but am curious about others.

Tonight when I go home I have to work on my class stuff for the semester starting up next week.

You know, set up blackboard and stuff. I'm not ready to go back.

@Swazzle Congrats on the 5 lbs loss so far! My weigh-in was yesterday and I completely forgot to step on the scale. Also, stop asking your H for his dinner opinions because chicken pad thai sounds delicious!

@southernpeach89 I'm so glad Callie slept better last night. I hope you feel more rested today! Maddux was sooooooooo excited to see Cinders this morning btw!

@jenna8984 Congrats on the new car! I used my heated seat this morning too and it's the best thing ever! H doesn't understand at all...

I'm SO tired today you guys. I've just felt incredibly sleepy and not alert at all the last few days so I wonder if my body is trying to fight something off. This morning I actually woke up and felt awake and ready for the day but I've kind of gone into a drowsy state again for the last hour. It really sucks.

H had a really rough commute home so we both ended up having an easy night of just hanging out and reading (watching TV in his case). I made tomato crusted skirt steak and roasted veggies served over a couple polenta slices and it was soooo delicious! I'm really looking forward to leftovers tonight.

What are you wearing? My favorite red-orange sweater from BR, jeans, booties.

Are there any movies out in the theaters that you want to see? Star Wars I guess. H and I rarely go to the movies now because it seems like every time we've gone, we've been interrupted by someone sitting next to or in front of us with their stupid cell phone. H gets really angry about it and obviously the cell phone interruption is incredibly distracting so the movie theater experience just hasn't been a lot of fun lately.

Do you plan to watch the Golden Globes on Sunday? Nope.

What are you looking forward to this month? The Hot Chocolate Run (5k in my case) at the end of the month with @southernpeach89 !

What's for lunch and dinner? Lunch is a ????. I have some clementines for a snack. Dinner is leftover steak and veggies.

@beachyone15 Vermont is gorgeous, but I prefer it in the summer. My grandparents had a house near the New York/Vermont border and we'd spend every summer in Vermont picking strawberries and blueberries.

Yay the ski resorts here are opening tomorrow! I may be able to get lessons soon.

Oh, I had my eye dr appt yesterday, and I now have an astigmatism in both eyes. Which completely explains why I've had an eye twitch for three weeks and have been struggling driving at night.

@AisforA - HelloFresh is pretty good. I actually do HomeChef generally but I had a coupon for HelloFresh so I went with that this week. I also tried Blue Apron in the past but I like HomeChef best because of how many options there are each week and because I can select low calorie/carb meals. If you want to PM me your email address, I can send you a free trial for either or both.

@labro - It sounds like everyone's fighting off something right now. I hope you feel back to normal ASAP!

@twodimes ugh that is frustrating, but at least you've been able to find cars so you don't have to use his car anymore. Also, very glad your H wasn't on the interstate when he realized the brakes failed. It's terrifying when brakes fail. That happened to me a few years ago, and I ended up totaling my car.

@speakeasy14 I'm so sorry about your astigmatism. H has it in both eyes now and when he got corrected glasses it made a HUGE difference in night time driving for him. I loved your post though because that picture of the snow is so beautiful!!!

I am trying to stay focused at work but I have about a million little things to do for the wedding it's hard not to get distracted by trying to check things off my list.

FI is finishing the hotel gift bags today and I need to order our escort chart tonight and finish the placecard template so I can print it this weekend. GAH! I can't believe there are only 10 days left.

The only bummer is that I am up 3 lbs after the holidays.

I wanted to feel great going into the wedding week and I feel blah. I'm hoping some long runs and lots of water will help.

Looks like most of us are having a good Wednesday. Only 2 more days until the weekend

I'm going to have a super long day. We have parent conferences tonight from 6-8 tonight. Fun times. I wish I could knot more but my day is 95% me putting on a show so it's so hard to check in with my friends. I lurked yesterday and I noticed a couple people are watching Making a Murderer....I reeaaallly want to chat about it, but TIME is not on my side.

@jenjen047 - The chicken last night was SOOOOO good! We also had the sesame-crusted tuna tataki that was pretty good. I don't LOVE tuna like that so I gave H most of mine and just ate the salad part. I'm really looking forward to the steak tonight. I can't get over how close you are!!!!!!

@labro - There will be no KTFU bandwagon for you or me, TYVM. I totally get what you mean, though. H is legit sick, like sneezing and coughing. I feel something happening in the back of my throat/nose and my head just feels off like it knows it's coming. I also slept SO much yesterday.

@labro - I'm so proud of you for doing a 5K! I think I've told you this but I can't run to save my life....literally, I'd be the person you would want with you if a bear attacked because at least you could outrun me.

@TwoDimes - Yeah new car!!!! That is incredibly scary, however, what happened to your H. I'm glad he is ok. I can't see anyone's tickers (or signature photos) anymore...yet another incompatibility I guess with my computer and TK and I don't even remember how to do one but I'll try to figure it out again. Right now, baby is the size of a bell pepper or sweet potato. @southernpeach89 found that one blog where baby was compared to sweets, which I loved LINK .... so going by that one baby is the size of 30 jolly ranchers at 18 weeks. Next week, box of thin mints coming up! I can't wait to be a container of whipped cream frosting at 20 weeks. Great, now I want to eat a container of whipped cream frosting...sigh.

What are you looking forward to this month? H's birthday celebrations and Zoey finishing puppy training. We'll probably enroll her in an intermediate training class after we move next month.
What's for lunch and dinner? No clue. Probably a sammich, baby carrots, applesauce, and fruit for lunch... and some sort of protein with frozen veggies for dinner. Nothing exciting by any means.

Last night was pretty uneventful. I got home, let Zoey out, then H picked us up and we went to her training class. After we got home, I made dinner and watched Scrubs while coloring. I went to bed around 10pm and read for about an hour before passing out. YOLO.

H found some really inexpensive IKEA desks on Craigslist yesterday, and he figured out a way to turn my desk into this huge computer desk/sewing desk, and it will even have a place for @audrewuh to sit and sew when she comes over. It's going to be awesome! Definitely looking forward to the bigger apartment, though I'm dreading the process of moving. I wish I could magically teleport our stuff to the new apartment.

@minskat30 Seriously, You're adorable! The Zumba video was okay.. it is 50 minutes total, however it was 5 dances, and then they were repeated again. I stopped after a half hour, so basically I did each one twice. I liked them and will do them again, however I am going to look for different ones too. Here is the LINK to the one I did last night.

Awww @speakeasy14 I really, really don't really feel beautiful but THANK you. I feel like a tanker already honestly (but a happy tanker). I'm really curious how big the baby is measuring...I was a 9 lb baby and H was a 10+ lb baby....at 5'4" that is LOT of baby so I'm hoping I'm not on track for that size of a baby.
