@TwoDimes that picture is gorgeous! Happy 6 months of marriage! I still remember when DH and I were married for 6 months, it was his last day of school and we had a gift card to a local BBQ restaurant...so that's what we did lol.

Also, it's my fake period week and for the first time in a really long time my boobs hurt SO FUCKING BADLY. Like, it hurts to move or even slightly brush against them.

@swazzle - I am also sorry about your boobies. Internet hugs from me too! This might be TMI, and you don't have to share (even though I know you probably will), but I'm really not sure I've ever had boob soreness. Is it an overall ache, or is it mostly nipple/centrally located?

@AlPacina I know you didn't ask me, but boob soreness happens to me every month. It sucks balls. They are super tender and sore all over for me, and taking off my bra is really painful. They hurt all over, but I'd say they hurt even more at the nipple. @Swazzle may have a different experience though.

@Swazzle Ugh, so many internet hugs. Boob soreness is the worst!

I was just browsing upcoming symphony performances and discovered there's a show BF would probably like in March. I had originally planned to somewhat surprise him with tickets to a performance this Saturday as a v-day gift, but he will be out of town, so I am going with a friend instead. Looks like I have a new v-day gift, conveniently after I've already started source images/sketching a drawing. This means I can either take my time with the drawing and save it for the dating anniversary or he gets double awesome gifts.

I'm pretty awesome at gift giving.

Just sayin.

@swazzle - Internet hugs from me too...I'm joining you on the sore booby train. Feels like someone is taking a fucking knife to them lately. I never had it before getting KU though so if this was a monthly experience, I'd be pissed as hell. You have my sympathy.

@AlPacina For me it's an overall ache/sore feeling. Especially when I take my bra off and gravity takes over....the tenderness comes if H touches them or I brush up against something. Sore boobs suck!

@AlPacina - It's basically everywhere. Since Saturday. The girls had to listen to me complain "my boobs hurt" approximately once an hour and yet they still love me. No bra hurts just as badly as wearing one although, my loose-fitting sports bra has been the most comfortable. Unfortunately, I can't wear it out of the house LOL

@AlPacina When I get sore boobs it's usually the outside half of each boob and they feel like they weigh 500 pounds. Moving my arm wrong will make them hurt. Anything that jostles them hurts.

Omigosh, you poor women! I honestly still can't even picture it, so I guess I'll just be thankful I don't have to deal with it. Not being able to enjoy taking your bra off sounds like the worst!

But every period I DO get to feel like the inside of my uterus is being shaved off by a dull razor. So...... don't think I'm lucky just yet. haha

Ok, so my brain hasn't wanted to function all day. I'm way late to the party and I missed all the fun here.

@labro your crockpot mac n cheese recipe was well reviewed in jersey. I ate SO MUCH.

So Friday I picked up my car and hit the road. Thankfully I sent my ETA to the girls through WAZE, cause I apparently had turned off toll roads and didn't realize it. It was taking me some crazy route through western PA. Fuck that noise. @swazzle got me back on track and I made it to her house FIRST and in record time. @buddysmom80 got there right after me with the most amazing cupcakes ever. Then @csousa1 and @Hummingbird125 arrived. As soon as we were all in the house we did some screaming, laughing, hugging, and just in general - being excited to be around each other. I love my friends so so much.

Friday night was food, Loaded questions (me being the most predictable, what with tortillas in my eggs, and buying a couch with extra money), and LRC. I actually won a round, but felt like I won the WORLD.

Saturday was BMs (of both varieties), margs, Beanbot nearly decking an old guy in a cable knit sweater, more foods, hair cuts, more beers, the most hilarious rounds of bar trivia ever played, shots, and the best FTing I've ever participated in.

Sunday I had to leave and drive home. I had all the sads because I seriously love my friends. They're the best people I know. I never have to worry about who I am with them, because I know they love me. I am so blessed...so very very lucky.

When I got home, Bean met me at the door and quickly snatched both my bag and the extra cupcakes that were sent home with me. He asked who they were from and declared (once again) that he has the BEST aunties in the world!

I was able to take part of Friday night off and knit and watch The Hunger Games. I don't have energy for much beyond stuff I've already seen right now.

Saturday I was at the office grading and doing lesson prep. I also started getting the cold H has.

Yesterday H and I both huddled on opposite ends of the couch in cold-induced misery. He's a day or so ahead of me in this cold. He's some better today, which gives me hope for tomorrow.

Tonight I have to do laundry, so I'll be grading from home.
