Aw I'm sad- I was just googling where to park in Boston tonight and my friend canceled because she apparently just broke with her boyfriend like right now and is trying to keep it together at work. I feel so bad for her! I do not like him one bit and honestly hope for her sake this is the end, but I don't want to see her hurt

@caseface5 – That’s so great that you’re becoming such great friends with your neighbors! Apparently the people that bought the empty house next to us are a young couple with kids. They’re moving from Montana at the end of the school year, but we met one of their moms and she said that they’re super into beer. I have a feeling that either means we will drink with them a lot or overhear a lot of drinking. Haha.

@CocoBellaF – Totally not your fault, but my coworker shared the name of his future daughter with everyone by having them guess which “President’s name” it was. Well, now that she’s born I keep accidentally calling her Kennedy instead of Madison! Haha. Maybe that means I secretly like your name more?

I went out on a second "date" with that girl I was talking about last night and we had an awesome time. We did happy hour, so we were able to leave before the bar got too crazy.

I ended up going home and smoking a bit more MJ than I typically would, so I ended up passing out pretty fast. Fun story for @GoldenPenguin, @Swazzle, and @Speakeasy14..... I was smoking in my back yard, and all of a sudden I heard a truck turn on across the street and it made the same whistle noise as the one in the newer episodes of PLL! I totally got spooked for a sec and had to figure out if it was real or if I was adding in the extra sound..... Pretty sure it was real. Haha.

March is Portland Dining Month. Over 100 restaurants serve 3 course meals for less than 30 bucks. Tonight we're going out with my BF's family while they're in town for a cake tasting. Tomorrow I think we're going hiking with his brother. Sunday we have another PDM reservation with a couple of my coworker friends and their husbands, but it sounds like BF doesn't want to go. I don't know if he thinks there will be a lot of talk about the cancer, but I'm trying to assure him we're all just trying to hang out before she's out for 6 weeks.

You walk into a party where you only know the host. How are you likely to act? This happens to me all the time since H never comes along to kid's birthday parties or showers. I act normal, smile at people, sit with people who look nice and add into their conversation. Keep my phone away.

How many times a day do you think you look in the mirror? Not too much, in the morning when brushing teeth and doing hair, after using restroom to wash hands. That's about it.

If you could steal one thing without consequence, what would it be? Does airline travel count? Stealing a spot in first class? lol

Are you good at keeping secrets? I have like 3 closest friends that I tell everything to (and H) so I'm bad when it comes to that, but I'm great at keeping secrets from everyone else!

Are you scared of any animals? What scares you about them? Do you think it's a reasonable fear? Large, aggressive dogs. Not any specific breed because I know being an asshole isn't tied to the breed, but any dog that acts like it's going to attack. I think it's reasonable since I was attacked a few years ago. And I knew it- I'd jog by that fucker every morning and he'd be growling and I'd say one day he is going to escape that fence and get me...and he did.

Hah this happened to me last weekend. I try not to be too awkward like the situation but I try to make friends and be friendly.

How many times a day do you think you look in the mirror?

Well at work not many since the bathroom is far away from my desk but at home...whenever I go to the bathroom so probably a few times a day.

If you could steal one thing without consequence, what would it be?

New clothes for me lol and shoes.

Well if it's exciting and good news then no lol but if it's a serious secret then yes...and then I'll probably forget about it.

Yes. Sharks/fish that bite and bugs (even though they technically are not animals). I don't like the thought of being in the ocean and surrounded by huge fish that could kill me. And bugs are just flat out terrifying in all aspects. YES it's a reasonable fear.

How many times a day do you think you look in the mirror? Every time I go pee, so like 10-12 (small bladder, though I've never counted how many times I go!).. I also usually check after breakfast to make sure I don't have chia/flax in my teeth

-Only spiders and cockroaches and snakes. I think it is an irrational fear but I can't get over it, I hate the fact that they are so creepy and crawly. When H sees a spider in our house he actually catches it and lets it go outside and it drives me nuts because I'm always worried he's going to drop it and lose it in the house.

I'd probably grab a drink wait until I hear someone laughing about something and then I walk in that direction and hopefully find an in to the conversation, haha. Later I'll typically pick out someone else that looks lonely or out of place and make an effort to strike up a random conversation with them.

How many times a day do you think you look in the mirror? Each time I go to the bathroom. So maybe around 10?

If you could steal one thing without consequence, what would it be? I'd like to think I'd steal something cool, like an expensive car. But realistically I'd probably want some sort of nerdy keepsake, like a huge dinosaur bone or Sputnik.

Are you good at keeping secrets? I'm pretty much the best at keeping secrets. My family is so gossip-y, so I've seen the effects of secrets getting out way too many times.

ETA: It took away part of my answer when I posted..... I will swim in the ocean no problem, but I can't swim in lakes or rivers without freaking out that the fish are going to nibble on me or touch me. I know they won't hurt me, but I don't want to FEEL them, and that scares me. Not reasonable.

@Alpacina Lol at freaking out over every sound. I woke up last night at 4am and thought I heard weird sounds in my house. I laid there for a while trying to determine wtf I was hearing. Pretty sure it was nothing. haha

I had a dr. appointment this morning so I just got to work a little bit ago.

Last night was great! There was an art walk event where local art galleries and businesses are open and have snacks/drinks out for everyone, fo FREE. I met up with BF and one of my friends, saw a ton of people I hadn't seen in months. This time of year is funny, everyone hides out all winter and once spring hits everyone goes to the same downtown events.

Later we all met up with a couple other friends for food and taking over the jukebox, which was aggravating these 20-something year old dudes behind our table who were REALLY excited about some Rihanna song they played, and we kept skipping it to play classics. haha. There was some hilarious back and forth conversation there. BF texted me this morning saying he wants to hang out with my friends more often.

Tonight there's an art opening at a local museum, so I am going to that after work. I really need to tidy up my house and do some laundry tonight and tomorrow, but most of all I'm looking forward to sleeping in. Every day this week when my alarm has gone off I have half hallucinated so I think I really need some good rest.

I saw snow in the forecast for this weekend and was all WTF. I really hope it doesn't happen! It's been so nice out and everything is blooming!

I keep my own secrets VERY well. When it comes to other people's secrets, I never tell them to anyone who the secret-haver wouldn't want to know, but if it's something big/juicy, I might tell it to someone who the secret-haver doesn't know. I also tell DH pretty much everything.

@jenna8984 – Great villain pick! I’m so sorry you were attacked by a dog! I got bit in the face by a GSD when I was younger and still am skiddish around them. I typically don’t get scared when they’re at the dog park, though. Not sure why that is.

@southernpeach89 – Follow up! You only get to go in and steal clothes from one store. Which store would you shoplift at?

@PamBeesly524 – God, I really like you. Do you watch Once Upon A Time? I think they did an alright job with Cruella. But the cartoon version is just SO SCARY, and yet I want everything she has, haha. Including her De Ville vehicle.

@speakeasy14 – Yes! I didn’t even think about pets, but that is totally my go to. Or I hope someone else is also playing with the animal so I can talk to them about animals, haha… Captain Hook is so freaking dreamy in that show. Especially when he’s on a ship.

Not really, I'm a bit uneasy around new cats because I've been clawed all to hell by some crazy ones, but my love of fluff usually wins and I pet the cat anyway. I freak out when I see snakes out in the wild, esp poisonous ones, but I still kind of want to watch them from a distance. Any large flying insect scares the bejesus out of me. Same with any fast moving house bug.

As much as I love certain animals, I would be freaked out by any of them appearing in my house without me placing them there.

@wink0erin - I only meant favorite because a villain can make a book/movie/play just as much as the hero! Trump would be a least favorite villain, because he's not letting me enjoy anything anymore. I'm too stressed all the time!

If you could steal one thing without consequence, what would it be? I would steal whatever official record there is with all of my student loans and wipe it clean.

Are you good at keeping secrets? Secrets that I can't tell anyone at all? No. Usually if I'm told something, I tell either my H or my mom (whichever one is furthest from the situation and therefore more neutral/least affected by it).
