I'm a little tired this Monday morning..

Friday night I was not feeling too hot, so we just hung out at home and relaxed. Saturday BF went into the Red Sox game with some guys from work. The cold that he had all last week came in full swing for me. I took some medicine, and met my mom to do some shopping, but I didn't last long. I went home and napped, then met my cousin for dinner. I was feeling okay not not great. I got home and watched The Longest Ride. It was pretty good. BF got home late and fell asleep on the couch.

Yesterday we ran errands. BF is getting ready to head to Myrtle Beach for a Bach party, so he needed clothes. I got some cute stuff too. I then went through all my clothes and put away my winter stuff. I was able to get rid of a ton of clothes, and put everything else away. My shorts from last year are so big, I was so pumped! I tried on the next size down and I'm not quite there yet, but very soon.

For dinner last night we made a beer can chicken and it was soooo good. We also finished season two of GOT. We are slowly getting there.

This week I have a ton to do for work. I would like to say that I won't be around because I will be so busy.. but I will mostly likely come here for a distraction every little bit LOL. Let's be real.. I can't quit this place!

That's always a great reason to treat yourself to some new clothes.

Mondays absolutely suck. I feel like my weekend wasn't really a weekend because we spent 4 hours in the car yesterday and Friday. Doing that much driving takes a lot out of me - I tend to get carsick so I literally have to sit there and do nothing if I'm not driving. NJ was nice though, my FSIL's shower was really nice and it was good to catch up with some of H's family. We went over to his friend's house on Saturday night and played some really fun games where you project the main screen of the game on the tv but use your cell phones to answer the questions. We had some good laughs.

I really need to go for a run tonight so I'm hoping I have the motivation when I get home.

@LizzyTish88 I love it when you try on old clothes and they fit loose! Best feeling ever!

I'm stressed this morning, my to-do list is getting really long and so is DH's list. We have a lot to get done this week.

Thursday I got a lot of cleaning done and also made a new wreath. I'm not that crazy about it since I could have filled it in more but it was really annoying to make so I put it up anyways lol.

Friday I took the day off to volunteer with DH's school. We were supposed to go to a local park and do some gardening and probably pick up trash but since the weather was crappy we went to a food pantry and sorted food and filled bags of rice for the next pick up. It was great, the kids really worked hard and got a lot done. Afterwards I picked up Callie and we went to my parent's house for a BBQ. Callie tried out her first car lol and she loved it:

Saturday I went to swim lessons with Callie. She is so exhausted after these lessons that she is practically falling asleep before the class is even over. Poor thing. The weather was still not so great Saturday so we skipped out on the dog festival. The thought of LOTS of dogs and rainy muddy ground was not something I wanted to deal with lol. So instead I went shopping with my mom for Callie's first pair of shoes! She is starting to stand alone without assistance so I for see her moving around on her feet a lot in the near future. After shopping we went out to dinner for BBQ and went home and crashed:

Sunday DH had to work all day so Callie and went to church. She DID NOT have a good day in the nursery so we spent the rest of the service in the lobby watching it on TV. Afterwards I met up with some ladies from my BMB for a play date in the park. It was so nice outside and it was the perfect day for a play date. Callie had a blast with the other two littles.

Tonight we have bible study and are changing our phone plans! We have been on a family plan with DH's mom and stepdad and decided to break from that and get our own. ALSO....tonight is BACHELORETTE! Whoop! So excited for that.

@PamBeesly524 Ugh I'm the same way in the car, that totally sucks. I was getting car sick this weekend from looking at my phone while sitting in the back with Callie. I had to stop because I was feeling so ill.

@southernpeach89 I'm glad Callie loves her swim lessons and they tucker her out! Adorable little shoes!

My weekend was pretty good. Saturday cleaned and lounged on the couch all day. Yesterday grocery shopped, meal prepped, and went to BBQ at my brother's house. It was for my niece's 1st birthday and she is so funny- she wouldn't stop eating! They gave her cut up hot dog and then let her down to walk, and she walked right over to the kiddie table and was eating all food that the older kids left behind. My sister in law ran over 15 minutes later freaking out like "she's eating these huge pieces!" and everyone was like dude she's been doing it for a while, she's fine.

So my friend who is not the primary host of the baby shower, but is helping out a little, told me that she was going shopping to find a dress to wear to my shower. And I mentioned that she doesn't need a dress because I don't even think I'm going to wear one. I feel like a whale in them and I just think fitted tops are more flattering and cute on my belly so I'm just going to wear a top & jeans. She wrote back "UUM NOOOO you're not. You have to at least wear a skirt if you don't wear a dress". Like really? Does she have the right to tell me that? It's being hosted at a normal, American restaurant. I have attended 2 showers in the past month where the mom's-to-be wore jeans and leggings. Soooo what do you think?

@southernpeach89 Ugh isn't that the worst feeling? Sorry you have it too. Callie looks adorable in that little car.. Did you find a pair of shoes for her? I LOVE baby shoes.

@jenna8984 I don't think you "have" to do anything! You should wear what you're comfortable wearing. You could totally wear jeans or leggings and a cute top and be fine - what, are people going to forget who the mom-to-be is if you don't dress up?! That's crazy.

Hi guys!

I had an extremely busy week last week so I wasn't around much, and this week will be the same because my brother is coming for Fleet Week!!! His ship gets in Wednesday and he leaves Tuesday so I'll have lots of time to spend with him. We may get tattoos together!!

Anyway, last week I was just busy with work and Coraline, here's a pic of her with the new 'do!

I I love it! And she is much cooler now.

The week (and weekend) flew by, but Saturday I started feeling like I was coming down with something and BAM I woke up yesterday feelin it. I cancelled all of my classes and went home early and slept like 12 hours last night. I still feel crappy today, my voice is on the brink of destruction, but at least I have the day to take it easy which basically just means glued to my computer and catch up on school.

Good morning!
What a great weekend, it just went by too fast! Friday was date night so H and I went to one of our favorite fancy restaurants. I had chocolate souffle for dessert and it was worth every.single.calorie.
Saturday I met my BFF for brunch and pedicures which was fun. I love catching up with her and getting a pedi is just so relaxing. After that, H and I got ready to go to my cousin's wedding. It was very nice (although it in no way "topped ours" as my cousin said he was going to do). One thing I thought was nice was that he and the bride served everyone communion during the service. They are both youth pastors so I know it was meaningful for them and the guests. The reception was good (bbq buffet) but unfortunately they chose a venue with an upstairs. So, you guessed it, anyone who wasn't immediate family or in the bridal party was stuck upstairs. Glad we didn't have to go up there! H and my brother and I had a great time dancing and enjoyed the food and drinks (hosted beer, wine, and margaritas). Overall it was a great time!
Sunday H and I went through all of our files in our home office and got rid of A LOT. Everything can fit in our 1 file cabinet now! We made shredded chicken nachos for dinner, watched the Billboard Music Awards and passed out. I'm so excited for The Bachelorette tonight!

@LizzyTish88 - Congrats on those shorts being too big! That's the best motivation.
@southernpeach89 - Adorable pictures! It sounds like the way to get Callie to sleep is just taking her swimming before bedtime!

@jenna8984 - I say wear whatever you are comfy in! Screw her.

Hi everyone! It's been a few weeks here for me, but everything is going really well. FI and I are officially NY residents now (well, kind of unofficially for me, as I haven't switched over my license or vehicle registration yet, but I have a NY address now). I get so many strange looks driving my car with CA plates on it around town. We have been so busy unpacking and seeing family that it's been a whirlwind!

We made it across the country in 7 days, and saw the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone, both of which were really cool. My car was great to drive, and we didn't have any issues, apart from taking a bit of a long way around to avoid tornadoes in the plains. FI started his new job already, but I am waiting on paperwork to go through for mine to start, so I will be around more often for now.

Today I am calling more alterations people to find someone here in NY to alter my dress and going wedding dress shopping with a friend who is getting married in October. I also am going to look for a headpiece of some kind since I will be in bridal shops and haven't decided on one yet.

So H and I have been really excited to try Home Chef, and I went to sign up this past week and the ONLY delivery day option it's giving me is Friday. I'm so bummed, that's like the worst time to get fresh food delivered for us! I find it hard to believe that they only deliver to all of Boston on Fridays so I emailed their customer service.. I really hope it works out!

Hi everyone! I am WFH from now until baby comes or I'm admitted to the hospital. It's so nice to be back on some kind of schedule.

Friday I got out of the house for a couple errands... Hobby Lobby and Carter's. It was glorious. I also tried the new waffle cone frappucino... it was not so glorious.

Saturday, H started working on K's accent wall and I started working on her wreath. My family came over after my brother's birthday lunch and brought us food, and we did cake and presents here. A friend also came by to visit and see the nursery.

Yesterday, I didn't do much. I watched 5 episodes of Chopped while I worked on K's wreath. H finished up her wall last night. We watched the Copa del Rey soccer thing. That's about it.

Morning everybody!

I ended up having a surprisingly good weekend. It didn't start off well--Thursday night I had a panic attack and basically fell apart. I ended up eating ice cream in bed at midnight (pretty much my standard coping mechanism). Friday morning I spent mostly in bed trying to recover. I don't know if anybody else here has ever had a panic attack, but they take absolutely everything out of me! The only thing I can compare it to is the total exhaustion I feel when I'm physically sick.

BF called Friday about midday and that helped a lot. I managed to get out of bed and go for a run, and then I decided to go to the 80s Yoga Party that my studio had that night. I don't remember the last time I had so much fun! The soundtrack was amazing and everybody was wearing neon and crazy hair and there were blacklights. And it was a great workout.

Saturday morning I did my first color run! I ran it by myself, but I had a friend waiting for me at the finish line, so after the run we went out for brunch at this neat place in downtown Savannah were you can make your own pancakes at the table! It was fun.

Yesterday was a quiet Sunday. I went to Mass in the morning, then to lunch at a Vietnamese noodle place, and then wandered around downtown Savannah for a while--there's good shopping down there, and I got some stuff to send BF in his next care package.

This week is full of getting ready to leave. On Sunday I go to my 3-week seminar. I'm really excited about it, but I have a lot to do before I leave. Which, of course, means that I'll be on TK more than usual, since it's more fun than making packing lists.

@jenna8984 that is a perfect summary of how we felt. Seeing Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana was really cool, and then after that we just had the feeling of wanting to be done.

Also, I wanted to AW pictures of us from Yellowstone. This was also on FI's birthday, so he really enjoyed it.
