@bigbaypony The venue sounds badass. You should post some pics if you don't mind. Our venue is an old Art Deco styled bank from 1921 turned ballroom. It was actually FI's pic, I wanted the Farmers Market but gave in because he really loved the old bank.
Also, I'm glad all of the people who bear penises had a vote in the venue decision.
Of course I'd love to show pictures! I snagged these off the website/various other sites since I was too busy walking around with either my jaw open staring or asking ridiculous questions of the event planner (the other ballroom had "small bathrooms" according to my mother, so I asked if anyone had ever complained... and prefaced that with "my mother is ridiculous and...") to take any of my own pictures.
In order.... 1) ballroom for the reception 2) ballroom setup 3) the back patio area where our ceremony will be 4) part of the bar area for cocktail hour (also has big original glass doors onto a another huge patio with fire pits) - the checked floor is original/restored
Of course the best part of the whole day will be marrying my FI but I won't lie - we're both super excited about getting to celebrate in this gorgeous space!

I really want to be invited to a wedding there now. We're relatively close, and DH has lots of cousins, so fingers crossed!
In New Hope, PA. It's a Landmark venue - Hotel du Village.
