Good Morning! I hope everyone had as fun of a weekend as I did! I think people had pretty good plans on Friday so hopefully I am right!

Friday I got home and just hung out. When BF got home from work, we headed out to dinner at a cute little local place. We went home and watched part one of the gymnastics trials.

Saturday morning I woke up and hit the road! I drove to @buddysmom80 house to help the girls surprise her with a baby shower!! I got to see @buddysmom80 @Swazzle @GoldenPenguin @csousa1 squared, @Hummingbird125 and @Peaseblossom55! It was great to see/meet them all and we had a good time! @buddysmom80 was surprised, so the ladies and her H did a great job!! I hung out there for a bit then headed back home. That night BF and I went to my parents for a fire and to hang out with some family and friends.

Yesterday BF and I woke up, had the sex, and then sat on the couch watching TV/Movies alllllll day. We literally didn't leave the couch until 3pm. We got ready and headed to my cousin's house. We all went to a hibachi with my other cousins. My cousin wanted to bring his 2 year old son for the first time, but the poor thing was not having the chef right in front of us. The food was yummy! Last night we crashed on the couch again and watched part 2 of the gymnastic trials. Those girls have skills!!

@lizzytish88 sounds like a blast!!

Friday (well all last week) I was jam packed training my temp. I even stayed til 4:45 which NEVER happens on a Friday lol. Saturday I got hair trimmed, my friend didn't charge me. Yesterday we went to see Secret Life of Pets- hilarious!

Today I'm working from home- have a doc appt at 10 to check the cervix. Fun times. When this baby comes I'll be used to waking up every 2 hours because it's how I'm sleeping now, ugh, so uncomfortable.

@LizzyTish88 Aww I want to see photos of the shower!!!! I'm jealous of everyone you got to see!

I'm pretty tired this morning. I woke up a lot last night and I'm dragging. So lots and lots and lots of coffee today. This weekend was really great though!

Friday I met my Mom and @labro for dinner at a Mexican restaurant with Callie. Callie tried avocado for the first time and she LOVED it! It's obvious she is mine lol. Then we went over to the lawn in the outlet mall and listened to live music. Callie crawled around and played with some little girls playing near by. It was the cutest!

Saturday I woke up early and went for a long run. I needed it! It felt so great to do that before it got hot outside. Later that afternoon I went to a sorority reunion at a friend's house. I hadn't seen these girls in years so it was kind of awkward unfortunately. We really didn't have much to catch up on thanks to social media but I'm glad everyone got to meet Callie. I left feeling weird though so idk if I'll go to the next one. That evening we went out to dinner for my Mom's bday. We had a great night and Callie loved sitting at the table with everyone and chatting away lol. We went home for cake and by then Callie was exhausted so it was time to head home.

Sunday was chill day after a busy weekend. DH had to work so I decided to do something fun with Callie. We made homemade edible finger paint and she LOVED it. The first thing she did was stick it right in her mouth lol. It really doesn't have a taste to it so she was like wtf? but then started squishing it in her fingers and smacking it on the paper. It was the cutest thing ever!

Not too much going on today. I'll probably go to CrossFit tonight and I'm making mac n cheese and broccoli and watching The Bachelorette!

@southernpeach89 Callie is a smart girl, avocado is amazing!

Morning everyone! H and I had a great weekend. Friday after work we drove up to Portland with my coworker and her fiance met us up there later. We grabbed italian for dinner and crashed early.

Saturday was the half! It was pretty cold (60s) and cloudy which was actually great running weather. It started to rain around mile 6-7 which was ok - my feet got soaked but otherwise it felt great. The race felt really good except the first mile - I got stuck behind so many people and my pace was really off, which was frustrating. I thought we were killing it time-wise but I ended up finishing in 2:00:40 - 20 seconds faster than my last half but STILL JUST ABOVE 2 HOURS. Wildly frustrating but I also feel really accomplished so I'm focusing on that feeling

We got to explore Portland a bit and had some amazing lobster and steamers at the house that night for dinner. Yesterday we went up to Freeport for some shopping at LLBean and the outlets and then headed up. The cats survived their first weekend alone together, hooray!

@PamBeesly524 UGH I totally understand your frustrations on that! That was my same frustration with the Peachtree....everyone was just in the way and it totally messes with your pace. Same goes for the water stations...everyone just stops and you can't move around them easily. That's an awesome time though! Congratulations on a great run!

@southernpeach89 thanks! I think H and I tend to start further back than we should because we think we're too slow... Maybe for our next one we'll be confident and start further up with our pace!

@jenna8984 oops, sorry I missed you when I posted earlier. Glad to hear a good review of Secret Life of Pets, I'm dying to see it! Sorry you aren't sleeping - I know this doesn't compare 100% but our cats have been driving us crazy the past week or so.. Being away this weekend we got 2 nights of quiet uninterrupted sleep and it was incredible. I hope you can get some sleep soon before the baby comes!

@PamBeesly524 You still did great!! I'm sorry you felt frustrated with your first mile but your time is still amazing! I'm glad you had nice cool weather for the race.

@southernpeach89 Callie is definitely related to me! Avocado is lyfe!! I adore the photos of her playing with finger paints so so much!

@jenna8984 EEK! Good luck with the cervix check! I hope things are happening!

My weekend pretty much lines up with @southernpeach89's minus the finger painting.

Friday was so so much fun! Callie LOVES music and she's starting to dance and sway along. It's seriously the cutest.

Saturday morning H and I helped my dad chop down a tree and then we spent the afternoon cleaning the house before celebrating my mom's birthday.

Sunday I woke up super duper early and enjoyed a mimosa on the front porch and texted @TwoDimes about it.

I didn't do anything all morning long and ended up taking an hour long nap around noon on the couch. It was glorious! Then H and I finished cleaning the house, did a little grocery shopping and had our neighbors over for a round of Ticket to Ride! Their boys had so much fun - I helped their 5 year old play and we WON!

No special plans for me today. I need to go home and cook our lunches for the week since I didn't get that done over the weekend.

I hate when I know I'll have a headache by the end of the day. My blonde self forgot her glasses in another purse .... *sigh*

Friday I was by myself and lurked a bunch, but opted not to post because I just kept getting distracted by other stuff. After work I met with a couple friends for coffee {Starbucks - shaken iced tea lemonade in passion fruit. YUM!}
Another friend - who doesn't live in the same city as us since her hubby is military - ended up surprising us by showing up

I was excited.

After that, one of my friends and I planned on hanging out so we grabbed stuff for dinner {soup for me, potatoes and ratatouille from deli for her} and a bunch of stuff to snack on also. We just chilled and watched movies and chatted.

Saturday was so gloomy. Woke up later than normal, even cats were still asleep! Matt and I literally spent the day napping, and doing nothing. It's been awhile since we had a day like that. Also didn't help I woke up with a bad headache. We've decided to cave and buy a mattress this week .... I can't wait until September for one.

Sunday was the soccer game with coworkers. It was great! I saw one of my coworkers who's on maternity leave, and she brought her baby who is 6 months

After the game we did a whole lot of nothing, I love weekends like that

@jenna8984 - Ugh, I'm sorry about the sleep. Sadly, you will be waking up every 2 hours for a while but hopefully not TOO long. Ani was sleeping for 4-5 hour stretches after a few weeks. Fingers crossed for you!

@PamBeesly524 - I'm glad you guys had a good weekend. I've always wanted to visit Portland!

So this weekend was good. I had a doctor's appointment Friday and it was helpful to have her confirm some things for me on how I've been feeling. I think we have a game plan in place to help so that is really positive.

My mom also came to visit this weekend and it was really nice to have break. She watched Ani while I got a pedicure and it was nice...though weird to be away from Ani. There was lots of walking this weekend and H and I even had a date night on Saturday night! We had Mexican and went to a dive bar...we were only out for 3 hours and all we could talk about when we were out was Ani but its a start to adulting again, right? This week I'm going to focus on getting out for walks all week if I can.

This week will be really nice hopefully. My best friend is coming on Wednesday night and staying until Monday morning so I'm thrilled about that....I'm hoping we can even make it to the spa at some point on the weekend when H can watch Miss Ani. That's all the news I got in the land of poop, spit up and crooked Ani smiles.

Hopefully with your action plan and your BFF coming to visit this week you start to feel more YOU!

@minskat30 That sounds like an awesome weekend! Isn't crazy even when we are away from our children, they are still on our minds constantly and all we seem to talk about anyways lol? I'm glad you and your doctor were able to think of some game plans for everything. I hope it starts to help!

This weekend was so much fun! I'm so sad it's Monday!

Friday night @audrewuh came over, and we chatted for a while and drank some wine. It was really good to see her, and I'm so glad she came over even though she'd had a really long exhausting week. I made a yummy chuck roast in the crock pot, and we made some rolls and mac n cheese to go with it. Awesome night.

On Saturday H and I dropped Zoey off at my parents' apartment downtown. Driving downtown was interesting... a lot of streets are still closed off while the FBI/police/whoever investigates. It was so eerie being there. Anywho, we dropped Zoey off and drove out to our friends' house to see them and our goddaughter. We had a lot of fun. I helped make our goddaughter's Chewbacca Halloween costume, and then our friends made dinner for us and a bunch of their siblings came over with their kids to hang out. We left around midnight, so we were there for like 10 hours!

On Sunday H and I slept in, played a video game for a bit, grabbed lunch at our favorite Indian restaurant, and then picked up Zoey. My sister was there with her husky, and Zoey was NOT pleased. She's not a fan of large, hyper dogs, so she was pretty stressed. It was good to see my sister though and spend some time with her and my parents.

Sunday night H and I went to see The Secret Life of Pets with @audrewuh and her H, and then we got ice cream afterwards and hunted some Pokemon. High five for being 12 years old at heart!

I finished reading Mr. Mercedes last night, so I'm at 19 books so far this year. My goal is 30, but I may increase it. I'm 4 books ahead of schedule according to Goodreads!

I dunno if you guys remember or not, but I thought I was giving blood like a month ago at work and had the day wrong. Well today was the right day and I was finally told after 4 times in my life of trying to donate that my iron was high enough to donate! I got so excited. But then I got disqualified because I got a tattoo in Oct. last year and apparently in MA you have to wait 12 months.

Majorly, majorly bummed over here right now. I know they have to be cautious but I wish there was a better way to weed out good/bad blood - I heard that right now they have less than a 5 day supply of blood in the bank and here I am sitting on perfectly good blood! Such a bummer.

@labro me too!! My friend keeps texting me saying "any day now" and I'm going to punch her in the face. I am trying to mentally prepare to go 40-41 weeks so as nice as it would be, I don't need her getting my hopes up. She asked if my doctor would induce me around 38 and I was like "no...even if she would I do not want that..."

Hi everyone! Sorry for being MIA for the past few weeks, just have been very busy with finalizing wedding details. We are pretty much set. We got our marriage license before the holiday weekend, and have sent most of the vendors their final payments. I just have to pay the florist and the DJ, and that will happen this week. I also have been working on assembling welcome bags and ordering the things we are missing still. And I just ordered new rain boots and a new bag to travel to Ireland! I just wanted to say hi and that I am still thinking of all of you, and will try to pop in when I can this week, or at least lurk to keep up with your lives! I don't think I will be online for the second half of July because I want to enjoy our honeymoon and I don't know what the internet situation will be like. I promise to come back and post recaps for everyone though in August!

@aurorarose41 omg 4 days!!!!! Have a wonderful wedding, I can't believe how fast time flies.

I got back the results of some basic genetic screening, chick and duck are negative for the major trisomies and they are both girls. I called H screaming "Chandler's a girl!" "Chandler's a girl!" I kind of though chick was a boy. I hope thing continue to go well, I saw the briefly this morning, one was sleeping, the other was moving like crazy. I am trying to get H to agree to a few days down the shore next month. I miss you all and check every day to see if somehow work has unblocked the website.
