    I like your attitude.  The airline employees work hard, and they have to put up with a lot of crap from people.  I get very frustrated when flying, but it is usually with other people on the plane.  (I am still recovering from my toe injury last year which was caused by a jerk who was in such a hurry to get his bag into the overhead bin, he couldn't wait for the old lady with a cane to sit down.)
    The important thing is that you get to your destination SAFELY.  Relax and have a drink at the bar.

    Sadly not in Buffalo but NYC this weekend. At least my hotel upgraded my room because they felt bad for me. 


    When we went to Copenhagen (Houston _Amsterdam - Copenhagen), United decided to send my big suitcase to Chicago, for some unknown reason. They still managed to get it to my hotel in Denmark within ~8 hours of us landing, so hopefully they can get it to you today, given that this was domestic travel.

    @charlotte989875 hope the rest of your trip is good. You get more flies with honey as the saying goes. I will mumble under my breath but would never fuss at attendants or fast food employees. It doesn't accomplish anything.

    H and I are at his college reunion this weekend. The weather is gorgeous and I sat outside on the quad most of the afternoon while he did stuff. I got some much needed sun on these winter white arms. Wish I had worn shorts so that the legs would have some color. I need to fight the mid west Vitamin D deficiencies! Headed to dinner in a little while. I know the restaurant has great chocolate martinis - guess what I'm having for dessert!

    I'm waiting to hear the result of DD and SIL's third IUI procedure. My heart just breaks for them ( and us). They want to be parents so badly. Fingers crossed.

    I hate that word. My boss uses it to describe travel expenses and then complains about my dinner bill (which is never unreasonable). Each time I say, you're welcome to give me a per diem or only authorize reimbursement up to a certain amount, but I don't eat at Applebee's at home so I'm certainly not eating there when I travel. 


    Next time he complains, show him the Federal per diem rate for whatever area you are in.  If it's good enough for soldiers and government contractors, it should be good enough for him!  That is, of course, assuming you are under or close to the Federal per diem ;).  But those rates have always struck me as very reasonable and don't force someone to stick to only fast food/really casual restaurants.
