I was also surprised the Pillow Talk people were making such a big deal about rabbit. It is an unusual dish in the US, but not way out of left field. I never saw it on menus when I lived in CA. It had gorgeous views of some Amsterdam waterways. A huge circular bath in the room itself, not the bathroom. And then a little sauna in the room!?!? Get out! I've heard that northern Europeans love their saunas but, dang! My H and I are now wondering if that's a normal thing in nicer hotels for that part of the world, or if it's fairly unique to this hotel.
Rachel and Jon--It's fun how now the story has changed from his criminal record being the biggest problem with his visa, to now it is finances. I'm rooting for them. But can't help but wonder that, if they had known they'd be together for four years, including married for two years, and STILL be nowhere near being able to live together, if they even would have started with the relationship.
Quarantine Larry and Jenny! Hadn't heard about them in forever. Nice to see they're still together and seem happy. Though I cringe when I think about people permanently living in an RV, unless they're doing it to travel. A mobile home is one thing, but an RV? I would be miserable living in such an enclosed space for a long period of time. Jenny also needs to jump on that unemployment bandwagon. They'd be rolling in cash with such low expenses and I would think more than make up for her job loss and his reduced hours. Though they might have just been doing drama for the show to make it seem like financial times are harder for them then they really are.

I was disappointed with the "What Now" episode last night. I knew it was the Loren/Alexei baby special. But I didn't realize that was the ONLY thing that was going to be on it! Yeesh. Loren and Alexei are one of my all-time fave couples and I was looking forward to them being featured. But an entire hour of any couple's last week of their baby journey was way too much.
Of course, I'm to blame also, lol. I could have stopped watching but, by the time I realized that's all the show was going to be, I was already halfway through and figured I might as well finish it.

It definitely helps that the Veronica/Tim relationship metamorphasized (sp?) into a close BFF friendship.

It was a 90D fiesta last night! Three different shows, lol. The second part of the Before 90 Tell All....and there will be a third part next Mon. The first episode of the The Other Way's new season. And good ole' Pillow Talk.
Ed has a harsh, mean streak. He is really bullying. I always try to keep in mind that, to an extent, creative editing can strongly influence how someone is being portrayed. But the Tell-Alls are much more the real person. And he was even worse! Not just Rose, but all the laughing at and making fun of David in Part II? It was so over the top and mean, just to be mean.
It was eye-rolling that he and his daughter were acting like Rose broke up with him because of how he looked. And now he bad mouths her and seems to hate her because she broke it off. Did Rose walk away when she saw him at the airport. No. Or even in the first few days of his trip? No. She walked away when he told her he would never have another child. Period. That was 100% a dealbreaker for her, as it should be. And I'm glad some of the other 90DF people called him out on that.
For the longest time, I didn't care for Darcey. I found her over the top drama off=putting. And I still do at times. But she's grown on me and now I really like her, lol. Yeah! Glam it up in your sequined gown. Literally tell Tom he is missing out on your revenge body as you stand and show it off! When it comes to the show, he's only been riding on your coattails anyway.
There is something really weird going on in the Lisa/Usman relationship and I'm not talking about the usual, obvious things, lol. They were trying to dig it out on the Tell-All, but both of them were being really tight-lipped. For example, all he could talk about during the season was how much he wanted to go to America. But now he is saying he will never go there. Lisa, who is insanely jealous and throws screaming hissy fits if another woman even messages him, is now calmly saying she's fine with him getting a second wife to have babies with. Though I think she's just saying that because she doesn't think he would ever be in a position to do it.
I felt bad for Erica. She wanted to get her story out, but you could tell it was hurting her she wasn't getting it out as well as she wanted to. I don't think either of those ladies are bad people, but they were a HORRIBLE match! Stephanie is way too high strung and high maintenance to be with someone free-spirited like Erica. Stephanie even implied herself that her "online persona" is different from her real self. I don't think Erica saw much of the "real" person, until Stephanie arrived. I also feel really bad for Stephanie that apparently people online are doubting she is bi-sexual. Though Stephanie's one "drunkie", loud friend was so rude!
And apparently Tom hits on ALL the ladies of 90DF! That should be a show in and of itself, lol.

I know everyone has different tastes, but I can't fathom how he gets any woman to agree to go out with him. Larissa seems her usual, aimless self. I guess she can't work right now because Colt pulled her green card? Not totally sure how all that works out. But, good God!, she's in her 30s and has two kids. I've always found the Jihoon and Devan relationship really odd. They seem to love each other...now. But do they really or is that what they tell themselves? They've both acknowledged that they never would have started their long distance relationship if it hadn't been for Devan getting pregnant. And, while I like Jihoon and think he is a nice guy, he's also an obviously poor choice...at least at this point in his life...to have a baby with and marry. Devan is asking him to make radical changes. Which she has every right to because there is a baby in the picture. But, at the same time, what does she expect? It's extremely hard for people to make radical changes to their personality/habits, even when they are highly motivated to do it. It seems, just like 90DF Quarantine, this is another show that's been created out of the pandemic, lol.
I can't even imagine the uber cash cows these shows must be! They can probably charge the same commercial advertising rates. But their production costs are almost nil. A few hundred bucks to each cast member, per show? Who are literally just filming themselves.
happily ever after? MAY Be promising. The other way is a yawn fest so far. Brittany/Yazan story line is boring and predictable. I feel to bad for Jenny to even WATCH her segments. Kenneth and Armando maybe have a good story line?!? I dunno. And honestly I forgot about that other couple already.
It was funny when Shaun kicked Stephanie's drunkie friend off. And did it so politely and efficiently. She is wasting her talents in entertainment. We should put her in charge of US foreign policy, lol.
I also wanted more details on what was David talking about when he said it was illegal, per US law, for Lana to speak to him outside of the website. Everyone was looking at him side-eyed. I hate to sound so snarky and jaded. But, dude, if you've been engaged 3-4 other times and still haven't gotten married...especially if you're as wealthy as you claim you are...then you are doing something wrong!
I like Kenneth and Armando. How can you not? Rooting for them.
Then there is the "what are you thinking!?!?" American ladies. Jordan would be a tough sell for any American/Western woman. But Brittany is especially flamboyant in her personality and the way she dresses. I'm not saying that as a negative thing at all. However, I don't see how she could be happy there. Then there is the pregnant lady who is intent on having her baby in Ethiopia. Despite the drastically poorer health care. Which I do find a bit ironic considering Tiffany (of Tiffany/Ronald) was already living in South Africa. And went BACK to the US to have her baby because the public medical facilities were so terrible there.
That very first scene to introduce Jihoon and Devan back was so weird and disjointed. An attitude of "look how bad and scary South Korea is during quarantine" But enough of that. Moving on. 7 months ago...
The new other way seems OK, with Kenneth and Armando. How the heck is Kenneth 57? He looks awesome. I bet when he is out with his daughter and grandson he gets mistaken for the dad a lot.
I'm super side-eying the girl giving birth in Ethiopia, why not just wait a few more months and then go over? I get that she wants him there for the birth but cmon put your safety and birthing experience ahead of that IMO

I can't stomach Colt. Watching the scenes with him working out and then kissing that girl. I had to look away. But it looks like this new girl will have a problem with his mom too! Hahaha...not surprised!

That's right! I don't know how I forgot about that "minor detail" of Brittany already being married, lol. I'm getting a strong vibe that her "moving there" is made up by the show. Even she doesn't say she is moving there. She's been saying she might not come back. Plus she's very non-chalant about the "when" they'll get married and how long her divorce will take. Because I'm sure Jordan has rules also as to how long a tourist...I assume she is going over on a tourist visa...can stay there, so she probably would have to marry him within X amount of time in order to stay living there.
I've always found the Jihoon and Devan relationship really odd. They seem to love each other...now. But do they really or is that what they tell themselves? They've both acknowledged that they never would have started their long distance relationship if it hadn't been for Devan getting pregnant. And, while I like Jihoon and think he is a nice guy, he's also an obviously poor choice...at least at this point in his life...to have a baby with and marry. Devan is asking him to make radical changes. Which she has every right to because there is a baby in the picture. But, at the same time, what does she expect? It's extremely hard for people to make radical changes to their personality/habits, even when they are highly motivated to do it. That's why it's a really bad idea to hitch your star to someone who isn't already the person you want them to be and then think you can change them into what you want.
