Hello, welcome to my lengthy rant.
I am pissed off to hell at Alltel.
I am angry that their commercials are still running in North Dakota with Chad being all "There's never been a better time to switch to Alltel!" when in fact AT&T purchased Alltel towers in ND and is forcing everyone to switch over. So yeah, Chad. There have been better times to switch to Alltel, like before when it was actually Alltel and not AT&T.
I am angry that I did not get a bill this month. I called four (ONETWOTHREEFUCKINGFOUR) different Alltel stores in Fargo before I got a person, who then told me that he couldn't look up my account (LIES!) so I should call customer service. I spent 15 minutes on customer service trying to find a person, to no avail. I paid my bill by phone. But do I know if I will get a bill next month? No. Because I can't find a person to tell me.
The reason I didn't get a bill, I believe, is because I moved. I did fill out the change of address form at the post office AND on the back of the stub when I sent in my last bill. So the douche in the billing department who processed my last payment is either not that observant or a really moronic dipshit. I prefer to think that it's a combination of the two.
I am also angry that I have to go and get a new (but it's FREE so it's OKAY! or you can upgrade to an iPhone ZOMG! ...yeah well fuckyouriPhone) phone and have to choose between two or three pieces of shiit phones or be forced to pay for a new one.
I want to switch to Verizon but I don't know if Ben and I can keep our phone numbers (apparently, he has an emotional attachment to his). I would love to call a Verizon store to inquire about this. However I am too pissed off at Alltel and their automated bullshit right now to even attempt calling Verizon for fear of having to "press 1 for billing."
