    In my opinion, the fanciest venues in the area are The Venetian and Westmount Country Club. If you feel like venturing out to Long Island, of course there's Oheka Castle. And The Palace and Bonnet Island Estate are also very nice, but I don't consider them to be in the same league as the Venetian or Westmount.

    I hear great things about Addison Park (not North Jersey though).

    Of course the Venetian...talk about over the top. But beautiful and the food is very good.

    The Atrium Country Club in West Orange is also a beautiful place.

    I think Maccaluso's has what you're looking for. I believe they are located in Wayne.

    I also think that the Valley Regency has the appeal you're looking for.

    I did look at the Grove, and it's nice, but I felt that they were trying too hard to be showy...I felt uncomfortable when I was there. They told me to "imagine the Borgata, without sleeping arrangements."
