WooHoo, I'm DIYing My A$$ Off (PIP)

Sunday was a good day for me and my DIY projects. I completed the majority of everything that I wanted to get done and now only have just a couple projects left to do.

I was able to complete our cardbox but I forgot to take a picture of it before I sent it off to my moms house.

I purchased a Mrs. hanger from Etsy and I added a flower to it instead of paying the extra for one.

I bought four marker pens at Michaels to be used for signing our guestbook and I jazzed them up a bit by adding the flower and then wrapping them with ribbon. Not sure I entirely like the way the 'stems' look but they'll serve their purpose.

I put one of my picture charms together that will have our dogs pictures in them. The picture is blurry but that is our Rex Dog :) Still need to print off a picture of our Chloe Bear to make hers. These will be attached to the stem of my bouquet.

I made the signs for our candy buffet table and our guestbook table. I also decoupaged the frame that the candy sign is in.

I made labels for the candy table but I don't know that I really like them. I plan to glue them to painted clothespins to clamp to the different vases but I think I need to paint the pins darker, thoughts?

I printed up our Thank You that will be placed at each table setting. Right now they are just one white paper but I think I will glue them to either black or purple cardstock. I did two different ones - one is all black font (on the left), the other is black and purple font (on the right). Which do you like better?

I finally got around to making my own coasters and I am pretty pleased with how they turned out! I plan to make different sets for the different holidays :) Easy, cheap way to add decoration to the house!!

My mom gave me this picture of my grandparents (my grandpa passed away a few weeks ago and tomorrow is his birthday) so I am going to have it framed and hang it with all our wedding pictures. This was taken just before gramps left for the Korean War. I look at this picture and see my dad quite a bit in my grandpa's face.

And finally :) FI and I went to the Red Wings game on Saturday and had amazing seats!! We had so much fun! After being down 4-1 the Wings came back to win it 5-4
Just a slight altercation between friends :):)

So now all I have left to finish is 'Our Love Story', programs, sign for the bar, and I will be done!! Oh, and I have to put togeher the gifts for my girls but that'll be easy! So excited to see this wedding come together :):):) Thanks for letting me share ladies!!
