I honestly got annoyed that the women who had worked hard to get back to their shape (or get in to shape) were picked on in that thread. Their "It's all in fun!" protestations were highly suspect.

Talon and Tage are awful names. They remind me of Alan Grayson (my old congressman) who had 5 kids, all named after nouns that started with S. Star, Storm, Sage, Stone, and something else I can't remember.

I was just going to say the same thing. Like I said in the confessions thread, I was a ballerina growing up. I was really fit, but tall and when I hit 14 and my hips started getting wider it happened so fast I looked like I had been attacked by a panther along both sides of my hips. :( It was awful and I was so young I didn't know what was going on. Eventually they faded to silver-y and I'm pale so they blend. But you can still see them when the light hits them. And the skin there is bumpy, like tiny bumps where the scar tissue is. Sad face.

I'm scared of what's going to happen to my stomach. Really scared. I'm hoping that being tall will help me to distribute any pregnancy weight gain a little more evenly than, say, my mom who is only 5'3". Then again, she only gained 15 lbs with my sister and 18lbs with me so she never got the stretch marks on her hips and stuff, it was all tummy, like she was smuggling a basketball.

We'll start TTC in June. Right now, I am on an insane exercise kick, in part so that my body bounces back well after pregnancy. Will this work? I have no idea. If it doesn't, I'll use the pictures of the fit ladies in that thread as inspiration.

I anticipate having some stretch marks though. Like most tall people, I have stretch marks on my hips and lower back. Comes with the territory.

It's like horse legs, an Emu body, lion face.....a sword in it's back (because obviously someone is stabbing you in the back when they say they like you're tat) and I think in the end it just means she spent too much time eating with her fingers at medieval times.
