Hi!

How's it going?

My first interview - we played phone tag for 40 minutes and finally rescheduled for tomorrow via e-mail. My second interview just ended and I wasn't that excited about it before but from the description he gave me the job is not what I thought it was and NOW I am excited. And I asked at the end of the 55 minute phone call what the next step would be and he said it would be to bring me out for an in person interview and I should expect to hear from HR tomorrow or Friday about making the arrangments. So...

Thanks MK. This would be awesome. The location is a little further north and not as far west as we'd like but we can probably live a little southwest of where the job is and be all right.

I had leftover chinese for dinner. I should have stopped eating after half of what I put on my plate and warmed up, but it was so good. And I drank water instead of Pepsi with it (I love Pepsi with chinese food.. weird?) cause I'm out of Pepsi.

yeah... he'll still be travelling a bunch, but he's off all this week still, but had to go back to Denver in case they need him in a hurry so if I was out there, we'd be together in the evenings even if I'm still working.

<div>Depends on how far the difference is. If it's 30 mins vs 15, I'd rather live in a cooler town. Actually, I'd probably go up to 45 minutes. Anything more than that, I'd rather live closer to work I think. </div>

I would rather live farther away in a cool town or near a cool town. I used to drive 45 minutes to work because I had no desire to live anywhere in that county.

I just moved in with FI this year so now I am back to a 40 minute drive. No rent trumps living far away from work. I also like that I never see the kids from school in my off hours.

I drive 35-40 minutes to work now... so to continue to do so would not be a huge deal. And google maps says its 51 minutes.. so if I live on the east side of the cool town and drive fast my commute will not be any longer LOL.

Loopy depends on the distance. I'd rather live somewhere cool and travel a little. Especially if the places near work are lame.
