Re: Meet and greet

  • I forgot the most important family member in our house: Fox Mulder, our 4 year old whippet.

    Nebb, I love pugs.

Agreed, I hate donuts, and most bread. I actually hate pancakes more than donuts though.

I guess I prefer the donuts that are more like the chocolate cakey donuts.  They aren't puffy, but more dense and well, more like cake.

But I also eat cake for breakfast and call it breakfast cake to make me feel better about eating it for breakfast.

Edited:  because the word puppy and donuts don't mix.
  • I'm Mandi. I am 30 and my husband of almost 8 months is 36. We live in Pittsburgh with my 14 yr old kid, and my MIL. We have a Ridgeback/Mastiff mix named Lowkey (in the sig) that is a little over a year old. He is the reincarnation of Marley from the book and move Marley and me.

When I'm not working I like to go to movies, read, and craft. I love crafting but it gets too expensive so I can only do it every once in a while. I am currently helping one of my best friends plan a wedding. Her thing is trees and Cherry blossoms so I plan on putting her cherry blossom covered cake into a tree that I have crafted. It will be amazing (I hope).

FFS, look at that face!! How cute! My FI has always wanted a bulldog. He talks about them all the time and when we take Tucker to the dog park FI likes to play with all the bulldogs. We were hoping to find a bulldog at the humane society when we were first looking but they didn't have any. So we went with the smallsih dog that sat in the corner looking lonely.

90pounds, four couches, two tables, and four hair dryers later....

[QUOTE]I'm Nugget.  I live in Minnesota.  I'm also black, but I can assure you that I'm not the only black person in Minnesota.  But I would be if I moved to North Dakota, because black people don't like it there.  I like noodles.  And Noodle.  That's my husband.  The capitalized one.  The other one is in reference to actual noodles, which I enjoy with butter and cheese.  I also like my Kindle.  And Dr. Pepper.  I don't have babies, even though they'd be mixed babies and the general consensus on mixed babies is MIXED BABIES ZOMG4EVR.  But I'm still not having any, because what if I have a mixed ginger baby?  <strong>They kind of creep me out and I'm already creeped out about what comes out of my vagina.  I don't paint with it though, because where would I even hang that? I was in Fort Worth last summer and loved it. We went to the stockyards- I loved drinking up and down the streets while listening to live music. We also went to a bar called Electric Cowboy or something- Loved that too.

I wished I lived in the South. I think I'm a southern girl at heart.

  • Hello!

My name is calixtine and I live in Austin, Texas.  My FI and I have been together for 2 1/2 years and will be getting married on June 10th.  We each had a dog when we met so when we bought a house together last April we created a blended furbaby family.  Technically they are both dogs, but his dog has a lot of anger so I think he might also be part troll.  My dog now loves FI as much as he ever loved me so at least one dog gets along with everyone!

I love to read (just finished World War Z and loved it) and I love all kinds of TV.  FI and I have gotten in to all the HBO/Showtime/Stars shows and religiously watch Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, Spartucus,  and Game of Thrones.  To counter act all that TV watching I go to the gym regularly and I've recently made it my goal to start running.  Maybe some day I'll work up to the nerve to do a 5k?

Oh yes, and my FI was also in the Navy!

  • I am 23 and I love diet coke. I get sad when places only have diet pepsi. I rather drink soda in the morning than coffee. I live within minutes of the ocean and I haven't been to the beach in like 2 years and about 10 years since I've been in the water.

  • I haven't been around very much, but can I play? I love this.

I'm Reddy, I'm 27, from Portland, OR. Been with H for 6 years, married one year, we have a fat grey cat and we plan to not have kids. H is a chef and does lots of exciting different things everyday, which is the opposite of me because I am currently bored out of my mind and looking for work/looking into going back to school. I do art on the side and love all forms. I am Buddhist, vegetarian, and I love nature. I also love girly things like fashion, nails, and make-up.

I also enjoy stalking Nebb on Pinterest. I lol'ed when I read that, celtic!

  • I'm Chelsea.  I am a French and kindergarten teacher.  I love to travel and I've studied abroad in France (1 year) and Senegal (3 months).  My TV shows are Gossip Girl, HIMYM, Greys, and now Smash.  I love wine and even got to take a class (for credit!) in college on it. Best class ever.  I also love photography, knitting and reading.

I hav eno pets but I'm hoping we get a dog in the next few years.  FI and I met in high school in French class and didn't think much of eachother.  We reconnected after I stood up in a wedding 3 years ago and his brother was on my arm.  Getting married in 4 months and one week! Woo hoo! :)

Sarah, I agree about Jason Statham. The accent, the body, the everything.

Random fact - I have a completely useless talent of being able to remember facts, character names, and pretty much anything not important about a movie. I know details about movies I've never even seen.
