Clinical Strength Deodorant...

Re: Clinical Strength Deodorant...

  • I bought one for the wedding and realized I couldn't shower the morning of if I used it. But I think I might have used it anyway.

When we bike, I'll put it on, and it works well. Sometimes, my deodorant smell would "turn" if I got sweaty, but I think I was the only one who noticed it.

I think the sparkly stuff in your shirt is the aluminum hydroxide in deodorant.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew

This. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that it burns like helll when you first put it on.

You  must have sensitive armpits!  It doesn't burn me, even right after I've shaved :(  Do you use the clear gel?

Ya I do have sensitive pits! I dont use the clear gel because it feels sticky - I use the solid and I love it, but it does put me in fetal position for a few minutes if I use it right after I shave
  • Ah, yeah, I get the sticky feeling sometimes.  I'll have to try the solid.

  • I use Secret Clinical, but like others, I alternate with regular antipersperant so that my armpits don't get too sensitive. I don't need the clinical stuff every day, and it makes my armpits too dry and sensitive to the point where they itch. Sometimes it helps to put lotion on before the antipersperant to moisturize the skin. And I find that helps to wash it off easier before shaving too.

I've recently tried the hypoallergenic Secret Clinical for sensitive skin, with better results. But it has absolutely no fragrance, and I love the smell of the Light and Fresh scent. So it's a trade-off.

<div>That's weird. It only does that to me if I am in need of a new razor and I have razor burn. I love the Mitchum Solid, especially the unscented. </div>
