Adamar - FI seems to be in full support of the pole dancing class right now. He thinks it's a good idea that I keep going.

I've always dreamed of having a horse. Not sure why because I wasn't raised around them or anything.

Trust me Adamar, I need exercise and we're going to use the small gym in our apartment complex together because neither of us are in shape. Like Eags, all of the people I've known to use insanity have lost weight though so I guess I'll just cheer him on/help more with the diet side of that workout.

I have an extra. Send me your address and I'll slap some stamps on his rear end and send him down.

He's a great lawn mower, but hasn't gotten much use otherwise.

Adamar - I loved it. I ended up going by myself (not planned) but it was fun. There are only 10 poles in the room so 9 people and the instructor at the most. I am still really sore from it.

Steffi - Thanks. Not sure I would even know where to begin with a horse. He would end up with Adamar. ;) The grass does grow pretty quickly in the summer here though. Hmm.

<div>Could always just eat more calories to balance it out. Half the reason why my H works out so much is so he can go get a quarter pounder whenever he wants, lol. </div><div>
</div><div>I feel like no matter what I do, I cannot get the last 7lbs off without starving myself. I've been going to the gym, I've been watching what I eat, and I lost about half an inch a month ago and nothing since. Blah. I've started swimming now, but I've been having trouble trying to break my 16 year habit of keeping my head above the water, lol. I keep getting nosefuls of pool water.</div>

[QUOTE]<strong>Um, I actually own the 30 Day Shred. I attempted Level 1 once</strong>. I don't know if I get distracted or what but I swear I have the hardest time doing things at home. Now if we had fitness class at work and put in the DVD, I would be right there doing it. I need to try it though. Maybe I can get FI to do it with me.

    Morning everyone!

A friend of mine lent me the P90X dvd's and I never once even attempted them :(.  I apparently have no motivation to work out at home but I do go to the gym pretty regularly.  I need to change it up though as I haven't lost any weight in a really long while.  And I could really, really, really use some toning.

Good morning! It apparently rained last night and I slept through it. Odd for me.

I need to drop about 10-15 pounds and tone up the flabby Oprah arms and my abs.  I belong to a gym, so I'm going to hire a trainer to get me on a routine. I can have 5 hour long sessions for $125. I think that's a pretty good bargan.

I've been eating healthier, but I know I can do better in that department.

Today is the first class in Intro to Psych. I think it will be an intense 6 weeks judging from the syllabus.

I'm having sushi for lunch with my friend, whose work schedule keeps her so busy! I haven't seen her in weeks, so I'm looking forward to it!

He's an unregistered 5 gaited ASB. Prior to me purchasing him and his papers being lost he's said to have been a Park Horse, which I can believe. Since I've had him he's schooled 1st level and done some very lower level eventing and jumped 2' jumpers.

He's also a great trail horse and amazing speed racker. I plan to get him back in shape this fall.

Morning! Yesterday was FI's birthday, so I decorated the apartment, made him a yummy pulled pork/corn/homestyle mac and cheese dinner and baked him a Star Wars cake.  He was so surprised and happy.

Cfas, I realized I gained like 6 pounds while on travel for work two weeks ago.  Too many tacos, I guess.  But I imagine with your half-marathon training (especially in this hot weather) you would lose pounds quickly, no?

Yes and no, Rach.  I mean, we moved into my mom's house, so I feel kind of pathetic.  She made a sign for our door like it was a dorm room, though.  That was kind of funny.  I just feel like a loser moving back home at 25.  Oh well.  I'll get a few more years of mom dinners and then I'll try Being an Adult: Take 2.

Does MFP count nutrients too or only calories? Because of the way I eat I consistently eat 400-500 calories less than recommended but I reach all of the recommended nutrients.

<div>That's good. I personally think that it can be easy to get caught up in how many calories you're taking in (or not taking in) and forget about all the nutrients you need to have to function properly. When I started focusing on nutrients instead of calories I lost weight pretty quickly. </div>

[QUOTE]So the funeral for H's friend who passed away was Saturday. Everyone was upset because the Westboro Church was going to show up to protest. Come to find out, one of H's CW is a part of this biker group (Initials are PGR I think? Patriot Guard Riders or something?), and anyways, they set up barriers between the Westboro Idiots and the funeral goers, escort the processional and everything. I thought that was so neat. Cool story, Rach.

Intro to Psych tries to fit so much into one little course that it's hard to learn much about anything.

Rach, I thought that was a cool story. It's nice to know that groups like that exist. The PGR group, now the Westboro one.

That's awesome Rach. I've heard of that group before and I'm glad they were able to assist in your H's friends funeral. On the gym front, I hope your experience is a million timse better than mine at canceling your membership. You may have to jump through hoops.

I seriously hate those people.  Not because of their religion, but because they protest at funerals when families should be left alone to grieve.
