Good morning!

Re: Good morning!

• Rach, that's great.  I can't stand the WBC.  Yeah, First Amendment, I get it, but there's a time and place, you know?
Haha Bay, I actually chuckled.  Lizzie, I know intro to psych is pretty easy but if you have any questions let me know! That's what I have my degree in.

Me too. It was an Intro to Psych class I took in HS that made me choose psychology.

• Go bikers!  You know what I'd love? A throwdown between that "Church" and bikers. E.P.I.C.

My coworkers made me come home today. They're all about to go on vacation, and the last thing they want, is to get sick. So, I took my computer and went home. The cleaner was here this morning, so the house is nice and pretty, so hey! More lazing for me!

I only had about 3 hours of sleep last night. I was so anxious, and I couldn't sit still and I couldn't get relaxed. Poor Lucy was on the bed next to me, and she was like "DUDE, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" Insert cranky face from my sig. I just woke up from a nap, but feel incredibly weird. Who knows how much longeer I'm going to manage?

Oh, and I watched Bridesmaids last night for the first time. I thought that was supposed to be hilarious? It wasn't. I mean, it was funny in parts, but geeze, I got all maudlin during it.
• That's awesome Rach! I love hearing stories about different groups who try to block the Westboro tools.

I weighed myself over the weekend and was extremely disappointed to see the same number that I saw over a month ago, before I started with a personal trainer. It wasn't the same scale I had been using so I'm hoping that was part of it or I was retaining water from the 4th of July. I've been working out with weights like a boss, and I think I've lost inches, but seeing the SAME number deflated my sails a bit. I also overeat on the weekends. I am going to work on that.

I have been taking pole dancing for over a year and it has given me some nice arms. They're not nearly Michelle Obama arms yet, but they're on their way!

Showing off at my wedding:
• Thanks, Rachers!

I have family in the military, FI is retired Army (Military Intelligence) and almost all of our friends are current or retired military.  Almost all of them ride, too.

In fact, this weekend FI's good friend is being promoted to General.  We're going to his party Friday night and his pinning the next morning. It's going to be a fun weekend.

Sorry you still feel bad, Snippy.

WBC would get it's ass handed to it in a battle, but we prefer peaceful counter protests. Theres no way in hell we'd give those people what they want, which is more attention from getting beat down.  Besides, the pastor is a sue happy, disbarred attorney.  They've sued and won before.

ETA: I have to hit the shower and dress for class.  Y'all have a great morning!
• Bah, you take the fun out of dreams Lizzie!! It's more just the satisfaction of having something like that happen.
• Oh, we had a guy like that on our campus too! I don't think they recorded it though. I remember freshman year getting so angry when I walked by. By senior year I barely noticed him.
• Sorry you're still not feeling well Snips. A freshly clean house should be really good for lazing around and getting better though! I loved Bridesmaids but I saw it before everyone was hyping it up to be the best movie ever made (which I don't think it's quite that good). I feel the same as you do about that movie with Superbad. By the time I saw that, everyone had hyped it up and I was disappointed.

• I think every campus has someone like that on it. Ours insisted that women who wore necklaces were whores because clearly the only reason you wear them is so men will look at your boobs. That was his argument.

• I just remember people saying it was hilarious. I probably got it into my head that it was the female version of The Hangover. Not sure that anyone gave that to me. I probably made it up. :)
• We just had an old guy who would flash his junk every couple of months. He would get arrested and then have another go at it after awhile.

I heard that too, from multiple people. It was like the unofficial tagline for the movie it seems.
In Response to Re: Good morning! : Yep, it's the Patriot Guard Riders.  FI and I belong. It's so much fun silencing those asshat Westboro people.  I'm glad they were there for the family and friends.
Posted by Lizzieyounce
H's uncle used to belong to the Patriot Guard Riders before he passed away. If I weren't so afraid of motorcycles, i would totally join the group; I hate the westboro church with the fire of a 1,000 burning suns.

I saw something on FB about another funeral here in Texas that the church was planning to protest.  Supposedly a bunch of Texas A&M students were signing up to block the funeral from the protesters.  It was on FB so I'm not sure how true that is, does anyone know if that was real or not?

• I heard that too, Snippy. I kept waiting for something really great through the entire movie. I wish I hadn't had such expectations. I need to watch it again now that I know what to expect.

I felt the same way; I thought it was amusing but I was disappointed because everyone had talked it up so much.  I expected to be laughing non-stop during the movie and I wasn't.

• I heard the hype about how it was like the Hangover too, and it most definitely was not. My sisters loved Bridesmaids and I kind of want to give it another shot with them around to convince me it's hilarious. H and I saw it together and were pretty disappointed. There were certainly funny parts, but it was not as hilarious as I had hoped.

• I <3 Will Ferell. Love.
• Well, glad I'm not the only one who felt that way, or the only one who heard the hangover comparison. And seriously, if that's the female version of the Hangover, we are all.flucked. Because it was all about a woman's "voyage of discovery" woo woo. We already have enough of those.
• I really don't thing Kristen Wiig is really all that funny.  I think that's why I couldn't get into it.

Speaking of The Hangover, however, I tried watching the second one.  The operative word is try.  I just did not find it funny at all.  I had to turn it off.

• Oh really?!  We watched it right before H went to Bangkok. That might have made it more funny, but I did think it was hilarious. Maybe not as all over hilarious as the first, but still a good time. Mostly I loved the Chinese guy.

You and me both.  I was in San Diego recently and quoted Anchorman on Facebook (the quote about what the name "San Diego" means), and no one got it.

Aw, I would have got it! I will admit though that the basketball movie he did was not that great. I'm glad we wound up seeing it at the cheap theater. I can't even remember what the title is. Have you seen the trailers for the new Anchorman?

I loved Hangover 2. It was pretty much exactly like the first one but I still loved it for some reason.
• Thanks Edie! I cannot wait for the rest of them.

Rach, I meant to ask you earlier but how much did you love Ted?
• Isn't Marky Mark from Boston?
• We're probably going to see Ted this weekend.  I've heard not only is it hilarious, but given the fact that we live in Boston, it's just that much funnier.  I love watching films set in Boston now.  Last night at the Red Sox game, I kept thinking of Fever Pitch (<--- awesome movie).

• Aww, I love Fever Pitch.  My dad wants a bedroom like the one in that movie.  It's ridiculous.

• I agree about the accent a few times but it was something I noticed and moved on from pretty quick. I would love for Marky Mark  to make only comedies for the rest of his life though. He's hilarious.

Did you catch how almost all of the characters from Family Guy were represented in some way? Stewie fish!

• Oh yeah it is!  People around us were mentioning things like Pesky's Pole, and then they showed some famous old clips up on the big screen.  I kept thinking "You let him watch the Buckner game?!?!"
