What color Flower Girl Dresses with an Ivory wedding dress???

My dress is Ivory tulle with spakly on the bodice.  Can I get white flower girl dresses?  Or will it make my dress look yellowish???  I know there are ivory flower girl dresses but I feel like the 2 ivory colors will not match exactly and that will drive me crazy!  Will you notice a big difference with the white and ivory?  I do not want to do my flower girls in the same color as the bridesmaids.  My bridesmaids are wearing coral and my maid of honors are wearing a teal necklace, so I was also thinking possible teal dresses for the flower girls....what is everyones suggestions????

I think you are over thinking this.  Personally I like it when flowers girls are in a colored dress.  Having them in white/ivory dresses makes them to much like mini-brides which is weird to me.  Little girls in bright colored dresses are adorable.  And with Easter coming up in April there will be a ton of great dresses for sale.

If you know you would be that worried about the ivory's matching I would just put them in a coordinating wedding color. Teal would work or if you have another color that you just have some splashes of that would be cute too.

I know a lot of times on here they will say that you can't really tell the difference between white and ivory, but I think that really depends on your shade of ivory. I have an ivory dress and it's definitely not just a little bit darker shade of white. It's almost a yellow color so I don't plan on having any white in my wedding because I do think it will make my dress look like it's dirty.

I prefer colored dresses for flower girls, also. It should be fairly easy to find a teal, turquoise, aqua, mint party dress for the little girl. Don't get stuck on matching her dress to the MsOH necklaces. There were several dresses in those colors on Macy's and JCPenny's web site. There were a few beautiful dresses in blush and beige shades that would look lovely with coral, without exactly matching. 

As far as mixing white and ivory: Unless you plan on standing next to your flower girl, no one will notice.Still, I would choose ivory for the flower girl, since you're wearing ivory, because that's one of those little things that would bother me.

white is a color, if that's the color you want use it....or use whatever your other colors are.....there's no rule, but make sure you like it. play with the look by putting pics of different colored flower girl dresses next to pics of your dress. It will come to you.  My flower girls wore blue

I like the idea of giving the flower girl a brightly colored dress.  I would go with the teal color as it would look great with the coral BM's and your ivory dress.

I agree with putting her in a bright dress instead of looking like a mini bride. I think either teal or coral would be fine, the teal would be cute and make her stand out a little from everyone else.

My dress was ivory, and so were my flower girls (we had 2). One of their dresses was a bit of a darker shade of ivory than the others, and I honestly didn't notice until I saw the pictures after. People won't notice this, but I agree that if she wore white, it wouldn't look good next to your ivory dress.

I do like the teal idea, though!

I think a teal dress would be really pretty. Or maybe a dress with a pattern that incorporates the coral, teal and ivory if you're able to find one.

we're doing the ivory dress- it maybe doesn't match my dress perfectly, but it "coordinates." We added a navy sash to match the BM dresses. I wouldn't call it "Mini-bride" (that shit creeps me out) but it goes with the color flow.

This is what I am doing too. I have an ivory gown. The flower girls are in ivory tank type dresses (which do not really look like wedding gowns at all), with lavender sashes (to match the BM dresses) tied in big ole bows in the back.
