BM Dress Help Please

I might be asking a lot, but I thought you guys might be able to help.

I am struggling to come up with bm dresses.  I only have 2 bm and they basically have told me to pick and they will wear whatever I like.  We all have similar tastes but I would like to give them a few options.   Myself and my bms all live in different countries so it's making it a bit harder.  

My dress has a vintage look to it. The link below is my dress.  Any suggestions as to what dresses might look nice with it?  I have gone in circles as to short or long. We are getting married at a plantation in Hawaii in March.

As for colour I am thinking aqua or some type of lighter blue.

Your dress is very pretty.  Since you are getting married in Hawaii, I would go with light and flowy bridesmaid dresses.  Personally, I would try to stay away from lace BM dresses because that might be a bit too much lace since you would be in it as well.  They could be long or short depending on the formality, BMs' preferences, and what the weather might be like.

Alternatively, you could just let them pick out their own dresses as long as they are a certain colour, length, and/or material.

How about something that isn't a bridesmaid dress, like a nice sundress from J. Crew, Banana Republic, Nordstrom, etc.  Something that can actually be worn again.  Bridesmaid dresses from wedding stores tend to be really impractical and expensive.  I'd rather put that $180 to use at J. Crew than David's Bridal.

Nordstrom carries dresses by Donna Morgan that are gorgeous.  The styles and length vary, but they are all silk chiffon.  Nordstrom also has an awesome return policy.

Your wedding dress looks somewhat formal (and beautiful!) I would go with long flowy dresses with lightweight fabric in a light color. The Jcrew dress that @Maggie0829 would be lovely! I also agree that you should stay away from lace because it could end up looking like way too much lace. Don't stress, this is one of the easy decisions! As long as you don't pick something really insane they will look lovely, and no one comes to weddings to look at BM dresses anyway!

I would think short dresses would be best for where you are getting married. I would die in a long dress in hot weather. I think aqua would look very pretty and it does go with the setting. I also agree about going to non bridal stores. Modcloth has a lot of selections.
