    I picked male, cos our officiant was.  He was amazing.  Recommended by everyone on the Hawaii board.  He did a non-religious ceremony with touches of Hawaiian culture in as well.  It was perfect for us.  

    As for practitioners, I'm more comfortable with female GP's, cos I kinda feel that they'll understand better being that they may have experienced the same things.  Kinda stupid I know, but that's how I feel.  Everything else, I don't care, though I'm starting to lean towards males (chiro, massage, physio) cos all my female people keep getting knocked up and I have to find new ones.  

    Kinda weird, but my last male massage therapist was working on my leg, so I was bare from hip down, everything tucked into my underwear.  He knew I was a teacher and asked where I taught.  I told him and he mentioned that his kid went to school there.  It was ever so slightly weird.  I don't see him anymore, though not for that reason.

    My pastor is a dude. That is pure happenstance. If our pastor was a lady, we would have gone with a lady. Why does it matter?

    I've had both. Male minister for first wedding and female civil celebrant for the second. Each person fit the style of the wedding perfectly. So, no preference here!
