Dude I am so, so sorry. I had a terrible feeling when you last posted, but I was holding out for good news not this. 

It is going to take a while to realize this, but you are going to look back years from now, when you have found someone else and are going through a tough time or thinking about a tough time, and be so, so thankful that you found out that your ex is someone who turns tail and runs when the times get tough, and who didn't view you as family. I can't imagine how devastating it is at this moment, but thank god you found out now, and not when you were married and needed him most. 

I've been thinking about you and will continue thinking about you, sending you hugs and positive vibes. I'm sure your hurting from his dad's passing too, and this is so much to deal with at once. I am wishing the best for you and looking forward to your updates once things calm down.

Ummmm people die. People in your lives will die. Why would he want to cause that much pain for you all in two weeks? Christ. Life happens and you don't just drop everything because of it. You grieve. What else did he do? Quit his job? If you guys were married would he just have divorced you everytime something bad happened?

I am so in awe of what the actual fuck. Either you aren't telling the full story and you did something (super doubt it) or you dodged a huge bullet.

I am going to tell you what I told my daughter when the man she loved ended their relationship. 

HE WASN'T THE ONE.

You deserve a man who loves you, cherishes you, and is willing to commit to you.  This man was not able to do that.  You need someone who can.

You will go through a mourning period.  It will hurt like hell.  There is no way to avoid the hurt.  When you are done mourning your lost relationship, you will find that life is still out there and that it has a lot to offer you.  You will come out of this stronger, and with a better idea of what you really need in a relationship.

We care about you.  You are a lovely person who is worthy of love.  Hugs!

I'm so sorry. That's such a terrible thing for him to do because he can't deal. I didn't want to say anything at first because I'm not as much of a regular but larrygaga is right. You totally dodged a bullet if that's the way he reacts to stress and grief. It's awful now but in the long run you'll be thankful for it. 

Remember that you're young and beautiful and awesome. I can't put it better than CMGraigan she is totally on point.
