@minskat30 - YES!!! We had ALL the originals. Smurfs, Inspector Gadget, He-Man, She-Ra, JEM, Muppet Babies, the REAL My Little Ponies...

Also, how could all the 80s kids forget Madonna (I knew all the words to "Material Girl") oh and Tiffany (I Think We're Alone Now).    Oh and of course Michael Jackson's Thriller video.

NEW KIDS!!! Love it, saw them last year and might again this year? I've falling behind on getting on that. 

Also @GoldenPenguin those McDonald's toys!! I liked the nuggets you got to dress up!

Also because we were fat kids, my cousin and I got all the parts to make the Inspector gadget toy!! I still have it somewhere LOL. We made a deal that one of us would get it for 50 years, and then give to the other cousin for the next 50 years. I've been thinking of wrapping it up for his wedding gift!

@minskat30 just being obsessed with dancing I would try to do all of the moves in Madonna video and I got pretty good at thriller.

@minskat30 - they banned the slap bracelets from my school pretty early on . 

My favorite MTV Video was actually "Land of Confusion" - with the puppets, I probably was too young to get it.  'Money For Nothing' was also a pretty cool video.

My favorite TV show growing up was on Nick called Belle and Sebastian, it is why I have Great Pyrenees in my life now

I still have my Felicity doll and all her little furniture and clothes.  American Girl dolls are still really popular.  I loved my doll!

The American Girl BOOKS came before the dolls. The original four - Kirsten, Molly, Samantha, and Felicity. I was tight with the librarians at my town library, and always got the newest books first. 

Molly was my favorite. 

And this was my favorite BSC book - I can't tell you how many times I read this:

@GoldenPenguin I read ALL the books from every girl, even if I didn't have the doll. The books were so good! We had Samantha, Kirsten, Felicity, and Molly... a friend of mine had Addie, so we'd have the best time EVER playing with all of the dolls. Ah, childhood.

I loved the BSC mystery series (I read a lot of Nancy Drew too). I distinctly remember reading this one a few times:

@eilis1228 - I LOVED Nancy Drew (and the Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys Super Mysteries were my favorite...I always wanted Nancy and Frank to get together).

@minskat30 I never liked her with Ned either. :-P I read so much Nancy Drew as a kid... the original series, the 80s/90s revamped series, the middle school series... I wanted to be Nancy.

@speakeasy14 - OMFG, that cabbage patch story is terrible! Poor little girl! I remember when my mom first told me not to get my hair near the suction in our hot tub I had recurring dreams that it would pull all my hair off.

@caseface5 - I have no idea who B*Witched is, but I definitely had a Casey Cartwheel!

@GoldenPenguin - WTF is Zoobilee Zoo? But yes, I absolutely loved the mini McD's toys that transformed. And the Sweet Valley Twins!

@Dignity100 - That truck seems precariously placed in front of that transformer. Maybe it doesn't transform into what you think it does. Haha! Okay, I'm done.

@untouchablets - I totally had a 101 Dalmations Gigapet! And was super into the Saddle Club books.

Much like @labro (we could have been such good friends as kids!) I had so many Polly Pockets. But BY FAR my favorite toys in my entire life were my Flutterbyes! Except then I gave them all haircuts and didn't like them anymore. Man, I gave everything with fake hair  haircut. Barbies, My Little Ponies, you name it......

Most of my favorite were covered already, but I also absolutely loved:

@goldenpenguin YES THE ACTUAL BOOK i didn't actually put in a lot of effort to find a picture lol I read ALL OF THEM I can't believe there were so many. I didn't like the series when they grew up and were worried about boys. Horses > boys.

I used to play school constantly (shocker) and loved word munchers on my old school Apple computer. And number munchers, naturally. At real life school we also played Oregon trail and operation frog lolol
