    Ugh, more like guaca-NOle. I like both baked and mashed potatoes; add some sour cream and cheese and I'm yours. Spooner, WI is my favorite place to go - very peaceful!

    My SO and I have been together 7 months. We are moving at our own pace together - I just really love the community here!

    @swazzle I used to hate grapefruit. Now, I can eat it every once in awhile, like now when there are at least 4 people in the office coughing.

    @alpacina hahaha that was perfect!

    @twodimes two grown women.  The one swore that's how her friend got pregnant.  She said it was the enzymes in the grapefruit that over powered all the medication. No idea where they got this idea.  This was my face the whole time: image

    This is actually true. It's not just for BC pills. It's because of something called CYP3A. An enzyme that metabolizes certain medications, and that includes BC pills. There are a handful of medications for blood pressure, heart meds, certain antibiotics, etc. that drs tell people they absolutely cannot ingest any grapefruit (including juice) b'c it will fuck up how your body absorbs the medication.

    So while not grapefruit = pregnant, there is an actual science behind it.
