@caseface5 - Her stage name is Ryatt Fienix (not her real name, but I believe that is what she uses on the show). She auditioned in Atlanta. They didn't show her the first Atlanta night, but I think there are a couple more coming up in the next couple nights. She definitely made it and deservedly so!

@peaseblossom55 - So. Many. Medications. Fingers crossed for both of us! Definitely watch Making a Murderer, though it might make you alternatively angry, sad, then angry again. Are you guys expecting the storm we're getting?

If you're going to cut ties with the bride immediately after the wedding, why don't you just do it now and save yourself the stress and annoyance? @TwoDimes makes complete sense.  if I would have booked the trip it would have been longer.  We did the deal of fortune through cheap caribbean, so we didn't get to choose which resort we'd be at.  I think they have the same thing for long stays, my bf just didn't want to do a long beach trip.  He agreed that it was too short of a trip though.

My weekend was kind of bananas. Saturday morning I had to meet someone who I gave Tappy's old blankets to. Then Bean, Noah and I ventured into Walmart for some necessities, including 2 large rubbermaid tubs for the outdoor Christmas decorations. The fuckers refused to fit in the backseat (because of the car seat), and they wouldn't fit in the trunk either. I was sittting there in the parking lot feeling like a damn fool. Eventually I managed to cram them into the front seat, but they completely blocked my view. Thankfully Bean helped us get home alive. The whole time I had a blinding migraine.

Saturday night I had to do my sleep study and it was the suck. I ended up with giant globs of dried glue all throughout my hair (from the probes). Sunday, the boys and I went to a birthday party for our friend's kid/Bean's friend. We stayed pretty late, and I was exhausted by the time we got home. Yesterday I pulled all of the inside decorations down and packed them away for next year, but the damn tree is still sitting in the living room. Hopefully H gets it out of the house today.

This morning I went to the doc for a f/u on all of the tests and they've decided to start me on a daily headache preventative med called Topamax. Fingers crossed that it works for me.

This crazy snowstorm they're predicting for this weekend has me dreaming of October and our cruise!

@speakeasy14 – That’s why I don’t let my BF train me anymore. He’s like “We’re doing circuits today!” So I force myself to get through all the motions, then super proud of myself sit down to rest, and then I get the "Okay, now we're gonna do that two more times!" That's normally where I tell him fuck no, haha.

@TwoDimes – You could have invited me to Mexico. Just saying. But that seriously sucks when trips book up so fast. I got BF to sign on for a cheap trip to Portugal once, and after only having the e-mail for 6 hours it was booked up. It freaking sucked!

@audrewuh – That dress looks amazing on you! My dog must have sensed your dogs were allowed on the bed because he tried to jump up at 3 this morning too! I guess I didn’t close his crate all the way.

@wink0erin – I never had the waste company ask for any info other than my address. So weird!

This morning has been a slight shit show at work, but is getting better. As a new employee in my group I was put in charge of a new cross-agency program/team. It felt amazing, and it's been my baby for the last two years..... Well now this new guy and I are apparently "co-leaders", but no one ever told me, and he was acting like the only leader, leaving me out of the loop completely. We got a fair amount of it sorted out this morning. I still don't really like the guy, but he's trying. I think he's just used to more competition in the workplace. This is the government dude. Chill out.

I'm so freaking excited for the Chicago G2G right now!

Oh, and last night we watched The Voices. Did anyone else see it? I know there are some Anna Kendrick and Ryan Reynolds fans on here. It was............. interesting. Definitely not something I had seen before, and I liked it for that. Pretty disturbing though.

I just talked to my mom on the phone and one of my childhood dogs died last night. When she said she had bad news I figured it was our other dog that had passed. He's been dealing with cancer, and going blind and deaf. I never expected this. I spent all my time at Christmas with their sick dog, because I figured it would be the last time I saw him.

The dog who died was named was Tater. We named him this because he was a super fat Chihuahua terrier mix that basically looked like a tater tot with a tiny Chihuahua head stuck to the front. I have nothing bad I could ever say about him. He loved everyone and was the best god damned cuddler a girl could ask for.

I have assignments due today, but I kind of just want to go home and hug my puppy. That's not the responsible thing to do though, so we'll see.

Re: why I'm still in the wedding: 
I know you'll judge me for it, but it's going to be such a shit show that I want to see it unfold, live and in person. It's such a selfish reason and I know it, but I've also gotten my photographer friend roped into the wedding so I feel guilty abandoning her, and H, other MOH and I are excited to see everything go up in glorious flames. 

Bride was my MOH and has been my best friend for nine years, but her actions have gotten more and more vindictive, manipulative, selfish, and harmful over the last three years. I made excuses for her through all of it, but after the shit she pulled over New Years, I'm not sad to end the friendship. And when I say end the friendship, I mean I'm not going to make effort to reach out or to see her when I come into town because her actions and words have shown that I'm not important to her, especially when I'm going through something difficult in my life. I have enough friends that I don't need a fairweather one faking like a real one.

I don't even know where to start, so I'll bullet point
- initially wanted us to spend $350/dress
- changed her mind on BM dresses every three weeks, sent me articles about dresses that would flatter my body type when I told her that a sheath column dress would not compliment my large bust
- threw a temper tantrum when co-MOH and I said we couldn't afford a Vegas-then-New York-then NOLA bachelorette
- insisted her bachelorette be a weekend extravaganza, demanded I took off a Sunday from work so I could stay the whole time
- is planning her own bridal shower
- has asked another BM to take over responsibilities for the b-party/bridal shower because she didn't like the way myself/co-MOH was handling it
- co-MOH's engagement broke off with the Best Man three months ago. Bride keeps telling co-MOH to just get over it, that BM is an asshole and a horrible person, even though co-MOH and BM are attempting to work things out
- Bride and Groom demoted BM to groomsman 
- On New Years Eve, Bride took co-MOH's phone and texted BM/ex-FI "all these horrible things". BM/ex-FI, bewildered, texts Groom and says WTF if happening over there. Sends Groom screenshots of messages, Groom won't show co-MOH who still doesn't know that Bride is inside the house texting BM/ex-FI. Co-MOH goes inside, checks phone, sees read-no reply, makes joke to ex-FI, and he texts back WTF, why were you saying all these things. Groom and co-MOH confront Bride, who denies anything, shows texts from her own phone she sent to BM/ex-FI at the same time ex-FI received texts from co-MOH's phone showing a perfectly normal conversation. It's not until the next morning when Groom gives Bride an ultimatum that she confesses to "stepping out of line" the night before. 

I have more stories, but that last one was kind of long. Groom reached out to co-MOH who was hurt and flabbergasted at Bride's actions. He said that she had done this before to their prior friend group, a story that she had previously told us where she was the victim, not the perpetrator. 

ETA:
- she's yanked my photographer friend around, committing then not committing, then asking for a discount once the contract is already signed
- she constantly bitches about how she doesn't have enough money to pay for things, then drops $300 on an invitation designer and swears she didn't know how much things cost
- this isn't bridezilla-y, but definitely something I judge: she's taken out a 15k personal loan to pay for the wedding, as well as maxing our three more credit cards. Her and her FI have a combined $20,000 in credit card debt that they joke about never paying off. He's an accountant.

@Blue & White all the hugs and thoughts and prayers. That is very good news that he was moved out of the ICU but I can't imagine how difficult this must be. Sending so many hugs . 

@audrewuh you look gorgeous! That dress is very flattering and your hair looks great! However, I agree with everyone else about cutting ties now and saving yourself the stress. I have been there, and once I backed out as a bridesmaid for the bridezilla I had to deal with it felt like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders. Our friendship didn't survive either.

@AlPacina so sorry about Tater. Hugs! Losing a pet is never easy. Also I hate coworkers like that, and unfortunately every single person I work with on a daily basis is like that, and it has me ready to walk out. He might have come from my company.

@southernpeach89 congrats on the van! I'm sorry that your H got into an accident but I am glad he and everyone else involved are alright.

So, I felt terrible last night and woke up with a bad headache, sore foot, and slight fever. I took a sick day today, and find that I really needed it for my mental health as well. I think I am so stressed at work that I am becoming physically ill, and I realized I don't want this anymore. I am very close to up and quitting without another job lined up, but I am really trying to hold out for another offer. It's just so hard when nothing I do is right (I was actually yelled at by my manager yesterday for doing something over the weekend that he asked me to do late last week and spending my Friday night and most of Saturday to get it done when it wasn't working properly. I actually have no idea why he changed his mind all of the sudden), and I have to deal with the toxic competition aspect of everything. 

On the bright side, FI and I should be getting interviews for a company on the east coast any day now. We talked with a director of the company, and our resumes are on the top of the pile for applicants. She received our resumes from a friend/mentor of ours. They just haven't posted all of the job openings yet, and need to make sure they have covered everything legally before interviewing us for those openings. They are in the process of posting them now, so hopefully we get to hear back soon. She even told FI that she wants him to come work for her, and our friend/mentor heard good things through the grapevine about both of us and the impressions we made, so hopefully this all works out asap. In the meantime, I will probably not log in here too much because I have little time during the 15+ hour days to do so and I am trying to be discreet with the new job offers hopefully coming in, so I don't want to post from my work computer. I'm still around and thinking of all of you though.
